Durable goods rose in January due to a rise in aircraft orders, which are volatile and can skew numbers one way or the other. Ex-Transportation, durable goods were -0.1% for the month. The data is still being effected by the recent government shutdown.

In good news on the inflation front, in the face of wage growth, the Producer Price Index (PPI) MoM in Feb was down -0.1% and 1.9% YoY.

Non-defense capital goods orders ex-transportation was up 0.8% -- confirmation of the strong Trump economy.
