MSNBC called the Nevada U.S. Senate race for democratic Catherine Cortez Masto over republican candidate Adam Laxalt late Monday night.

This projection confirms that Democrats will retain at least 50 seats in the U.S. Senate with Vice President Kamala Harris’s tie-breaking vote guaranteeing Democrats a slim majority in future votes on Senate legislation.
