Whoever is unjust, let him be unjust still.
Whoever is righteous, let him be righteous still.
Whoever is filthy, let him be filthy still.
Listen to the words long-written down,
When the man comes around.
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
After my father died, who was a minister in the Presbyterian Church for 42 years, descended from a long line of Scottish pastors from the Highlands, I was looking through one of his Bibles and found notes from a sermon in 1965 taped to the Book of Revelation.
It reminded me of one of my favorite Johnny Cash tunes, ‘When the Man Comes Around.” (my father was a fan and turned me on to The Man in Black at a young age)
It also occurred to me that we are in one of those times where men of God must stand up to evil, for it is all around us.
If we don’t give this struggle everything we have NOW, peacefully, but firmly with perseverence, from the local level on up, we will lose our children’s future.
I received a message yesterday from someone who wanted their name taken off an article for ‘fear of being targeted’. I asked him if he had children, or granchildren; he said yes. I then asked him why he fears more for his personal safety than his children’s future?
Mankind is facing an evil like never before, one that wants to enslave the human race, after killing billions. There is no doubt about that any longer.
No matter what religion you follow, the message is the same — stand up to evil.
It is spiritual warfare. It is time to stand up and say no.
