New data from the American Immigration Council shows that rampant immigration has increased the number of foreign-born voters in 75% of critical swing states since 2016.
Canada’s Pierre Poilievre has been elected as the new leader of the Conservative Party. Upon being elected, Poilievre has been called “dangerous” and reckless for holding conservative views. He has been compared to Donald Trump by Canadian mainstream media and fervently attacked and criticized by multiple news outlets. The Tyee ran the headline, “Pierre Poilievre Is a Symptom of the Conservative’s Sickness” and called the Conservative Party “authoritarian, undemocratic, and out of touch.”
According to NBC News, Joe Biden allegedly told Al Sharpton that he intends to run for president again in 2024. Biden made the comment to Sharpton during a meeting with top civil rights organizations in September stating, “I’m going to do it again.”
California Governor, Gavin Newsom signed SB 107 into law Thursday taking parental rights away from parents of transgender children across the country. The new law allows California to take “temporary emergency jurisdiction” over transgender children who come to the state seeking medication, surgery, or mental health services which the bill refers to as “gender-affirming care.”
Brazil’s presidential election Sunday resulted in an upset as conservative president, Jair Bolsonaro, came in second behind the former socialist president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. With 99.51% of precincts reporting, Lula had 48.31% of the votes with Bolsonaro in a very close second with 43.3%.
