Polident Politician Mumbles Inconvenient Truths, Is Mocked

    You Had One Job, Joe

Several articles yesterday shared a common theme: Joe Biden didn't need to win the third debate, he just needed not to lose it. Surprising only political neophytes, Joe lost in spectacular fashion, just a few steps short of the finish line in the marathon 3-hour Dem-fest.

Brought to you by ABC-Disney-ESPN, the third Democratic candidate debate mercifully pruned the bloated field to ten candidates. Moderators, especially ABC correspondent Linsey Davis and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, asked some hard-hitting questions. Continuing the trend of appealing to Mexican-Americans both legal and otherwise, unos pocos candidatos spoke mucho español.

    Fixodent And Forget The Truth

First, either Joe's bridge came loose or his Super Poligrip slipped. In either case, he sounded like he was gargling marbles while discussing gun control before he popped it back in place with his tongue. To watch, go to 54:17 in this link. (If you're wondering why I don't just embed a video of the moment, YouTube has made the debate un-embeddable.)

When he isn't blinking a bloody eyeball or losing his fake teeth, Biden often displays a remarkably casual brand of racism. The worst moment in his performance came at 2:06:48 in this video. Sure, he was tired. He's almost 77, he'd been standing for two hours, and it was way past his supper time. Still...the quote (emphasis mine) is too honest by far for Democrat ears.

MODERATOR: Mr. Vice President, I want to come to you and talk to you about inequality in schools and race. [BIDEN chuckles incredulously]
In a conversation about how to deal with segregation in schools back in 1975, you told a reporter, "I don't feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather, I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation, and I'll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago."
You said that some 40 years ago. But as you stand here tonight, what responsibility do you think that Americans need to take to repair the legacy of slavery in our country?

BIDEN: Well, they have to deal with the -- look, there's institutional segregation in this country. And from the time I got involved, I started dealing with that. Redlining banks, making sure that we are in a position where -- look, you talk about education. I propose that what we take is those very poor schools, the Title I schools, triple the amount of money we spend from 15 to $45 billion a year. Give every single teacher a raise, the equal raise to getting out -- the $60,000 level.
Number two, make sure that we bring in to help the teachers deal with the problems that come from home. The problems that come from home, we need -- we have one school psychologist for every 1,500 kids in America today. It's crazy.
The teachers are -- I'm married to a teacher. My deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them. We have -- make sure that every single child does, in fact, have 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds go to school. School. Not daycare. School. We bring social workers in to homes and parents to help them deal with how to raise their children.
It's not want they don't want to help. They don't -- they don't know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television -- excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the -- the -- make sure that kids hear words. A kid coming from a very poor school -- a very poor background will hear 4 million words fewer spoken by the time they get there.

Biden is speaking in liberal code, because he has finally learned that Democrats aren't allowed to speak truth about black America. To be fair, he could remark more freely in 1975 (the first bolded part). Before the era of white guilt, it was perfectly acceptable to opine on the ridiculous, unworkable proposition that is black reparations. Granted, Biden put it rather indelicately. When he signals, it's more of a catcall than a dogwhistle.

Dems Keeping Blacks Down: It's A Team Effort

None of this should surprise CD Media readers, as we have demonstrated at length that the Democratic Party is without question the party of slavery, and that Joe Biden is, by any standard, a racist. Politically, he is a direct descendant of LBJ, and we know what happens when Democrats try to help blacks: welfare and other entitlements utterly wrecked the black family unit. Relatively stable rates of black single-parent families rocketed from 23% to 77% after the advent of LBJ's 1964 Great Society programs.

Biden did his part to hurt black families by authoring the 1994 crime bill that resulted in greater mass incarceration of black men.

Back to the gaffe-fest quotation: a Title I school is federally-funded school ($14 billion per year) with a high concentration of students in poverty. Title I students are overwhelmingly made up of minorities, over 66%. So when Biden says "Title I schools," he's really saying "black and brown kids."

No rational person is saying he's wrong--minority students are failing at stupendous rates. In a 2015 NAEP study cited in US News & World Report, only 7% of black students and 12% of Hispanic high school graduates were college-entry proficient in math, and only 17% and 25%, respectively, in reading.

It's not the facts that come off as condescending. It's the clumsy, out of touch tone: "We bring social workers ...to help them deal with how to raise their children." Translation: minorities are bad parents.

"It's not want they don't want to help. They don't -- they don't know quite what to do." Translation: minorities are ignorant, bad parents.

"Play the radio, make sure the television -- excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the -- the -- make sure that kids hear words. A kid coming from...a very poor background will hear 4 million words fewer spoken by the time they get there." Translation: minorities are ignorant, bad, illiterate parents.

Let's take a stab at Biden's inner monologue during the quote above:

"Oh shoot I said television, they'll think I'm advising poor blacks to watch more TV...quick, what's another thing you turn on and words come out?? Think! Oh, right, a gramophone! Wait, that sounds old-fashioned...what do the kids call them now...right! A record player. Whew! And I managed not to explicitly say that black parents don't talk to their kids enough like I did a few months ago. Now to wrap up with my 4 million words statistic. I'm doing great!"

But the funniest part of this whole charade is that Democrats are still clinging to this party relic as if he were their best hope. Sadly for them, he probably is.

Trump must be aching for a debate.

This election is shaping up to be the historic time the Libertarians finished ahead of the Democrats in the presidential race and replaced Democrats in places that have seen the lack of action by Democrats causing crime and strife.
