Dr. Birx Questions CDC Coronavirus Numbers

Prominent figures are questioning the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) agency’s final numbers on the Covid-19 death tolls.

According to the Washington Post, even those most adamant about putting the U.S. economy into a devastating shutdown over coronavirus fears are now asking whether the CDC’s death toll numbers are being inflated

On Saturday, WaPo said that Dr. Deborah Birx, a figurehead on the Trump administration’s coronavirus task force, allegedly told the CDC Director Robert Redfield in a recent meeting on Covid-19 data:

“There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust.”

The Washington Post went on to say that Dr. Birx and others examining the latest data from the CDC have fears that the statistics like mortality rate and number of cases is inflated by as much as 25%. When they reached out to Dr. Birx for comment, she told WaPo in a public statement that “mortality is slowly declining each day.”

This goes against the Imperial College model that the Trump administration and other western world leaders have been using as justification for locking down their nations. The London professor, Neil Ferguson, claimed as many as 2.2 million Americans would die by the novel coronavirus if no lockdown measures were put in place, and a staggering 600,000 deaths if social distancing was adhered to.

Ferguson also claimed that Sweden would see 40,000 deaths by May 1st if they continued allowing the economy to operate normally but in the start of May,Sweden had less than 3,000 deaths. And while Professor Ferguson was one of the prominent architects of the UK's social distancing measures, he recently resigned from his position directing the government after word got out that he violated his own Stay At Home orders to have sexual relations with his married lover.

Entrepreneur Elon Musk has also been growing more outspoken by the day, accusing the CDC and hospitals of inflating coronavirus numbers in order to secure funding and mislead the public into anti-America actions like lockdowns. In a string of Tweets, Musk claimed that US authorities were purposely over-counting COVID-19 deaths, acknowledging that deaths with coronavirus are included in COVID-19 total - regardless of any underlying health issues and comorbidity that may have contributed.
