Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) recently sent a letter to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that demanded an investigation into the reported hundreds of thousands of small, likely illegal, donations that have added up to millions of dollars that have been donated to ActBlue, a Democratic fundraising behemoth, for the past two elections.
As reported by The Miami Independent weeks ago, last year, donation mules were funneling funds to Democrat Raphael Warnock from across the nation.
ActBlue has admitted to raising funds using Black Lives Matter (BLM) as its cover organization. In February 2022, BLM finally deactivated its fundraising pages on ActBlue's website after the Washington Examiner had previously revealed that BLM had lied about no longer accepting donations for the Democratic platform.
It should be noted that BLM is not a recognized non-profit organization. However, the non-profit, Thousand Currents, has confirmed that it provides "fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other administrative services" to BLM.
When Candace Owen covered BLM's relationship with ActBlue, she was targeted by a fraudulent fact checker. Tom Finton with Judicial Overwatch stepped in and reaffirmed that their findings confirmed what The Gateway Pundit and Owen had reported.
Susan Rosenberg served on the Board of the alleged non-profit, Thousand Currents. Rosenberg was a member of the Weather Underground terrorist group, which also included Bill Ayers. Former President Clinton pardoned Rosenberg on his last day in office.
Essentially, donations made to BLM were transferred to ActBlue, the fundraising platform for the Democratic Party, and then given to at least one organization that had a member of a domestic terrorist group on its Board.
According to a 2020 Fox News report, half of all donations made to ActBlue in 2019 came from "untraceable, unemployed donors."
According to John Pudner, President of Action Fund, in 2019 an alarming number of donations made to ActBlue came from unemployed donors.
"After downloading hundreds of millions of [dollars in] donations to the Take Back Action Fund servers, we were shocked to see that almost half of the donations to ActBlue in 2019 claimed to be unemployed individuals," Pudner said.
"The name of employers must be disclosed when making political donations, but more than 4.7 million donations came from people who claimed they did not have an employer. Those 4.7 million donations totaled $346 million ActBlue raised and sent to liberal causes," he added.
Action Fund analyzed 2020 data from January to August that showed an increase in "unemployed" donations through ActBlue, rising to 50.1 percent this year.
Regarding the alarming increase in unemployed donors this year, Pudner said, "It is hard to believe that at a time when the U.S. unemployment rate was less than 4 percent, that unemployed people had $346 million dollars to send to ActBlue for liberal causes."
"4.7 million donations from people without a job... raised serious concerns," Pudner concluded.
According to Real Clear Politics, ActBlue doesn't appear to know where its donations are coming from as the organization could not confirm whether or not donations to its site were made from individuals in the U.S. or abroad.
"When Take Back Our Republic first pointed out in 2015 that foreign interests could potentially use gift cards to flood money in through ActBlue's unverified credit card system, more than 100 members of Congress stopped using the system and 31 Democrats joined 52 Republicans in trying to outlaw the practice," Pudner said of AcBlue's poor credit card system.
"It took vendors only a few hours to change their setup to allow the banks to verify if donations were really from Americans. Unfortunately, as things turned harshly partisan after Trump's election, ActBlue doubled down and moved more and more candidates onto an unverified system at a time when intelligence officials are warning that foreign interests want to impact who wins our elections. TBAF asks ActBlue to join the hundreds who have stopped using this system," Pudner added.
Meanwhile, ActBlue Texas has been disbursing small amounts, a few hundred dollars, to individuals who are not even running for office. ActBlue Texas has paid out $9.6 million in such disbursements and after conducting a review of those payments through the website TransparencyUSA.org, The Gateway Pundit was not able to determine who most of the people who received disbursements are.
Seemingly fraudulent practices such as those mentioned above are what have driven Sen. Rubio to finally send a letter to the FEC demanding that it open an investigation into ActBlue.
"Two weeks ago, alarming reports emerged of fraudulent donations being reported to the FEC by ActBlue," Rubio stated in his letter to the FEC chairs. "These reports indicate that numerous individuals, including senior citizens, have purportedly donated to ActBlue thousands of times a year. However, according to recent investigative reports, many of these individuals had no idea that their names and addresses were being used to give thousands of dollars in political donations, with most of these 'donations' going to ActBlue," Rubio added.
Several individuals on fixed income have been notified that their names and addresses were used to make such donations and many of them have been shocked to learn of the scheme, claiming they had no idea they were involved in making alleged donations.
"It should come as no surprise that ActBlue serves as a vessel for fraud, considering the intentional lack of security engrained within their donation processes and systems," Rubio concluded.
When can we finally admit that the Democrat Party is a criminal organization? They don't even hide their corruption, anymore. They are overtly criminal! Because there are never prosecutions. They are rewarded for criminality.
This kind of organized crime by the democrats should put several of them in prison on RICO charges,but it won't. They are totally corrupt and somehow above the law. The republicans are sitting on their tongues waiting for the checks to clear. Not going to vote our way out of this criminality.
