Joe Biden stated in speech last week that “American leadership is what holds the world together.” Accepting this statement as true, given the state of the world, it seems American leadership has disappeared in Washington, D.C.
There are five areas of primary strategic concern in the world today. They are far more interconnected than we can describe in a short article like this but sometimes we need to look at the big picture first before we dive into the details. This is the essence of what it means to capture the strategic view first and then determine if the details support the strategic assessment. I have been studying the details for almost thirty years and am confident of this assessment. Publishing the Global Veteran’s Coalition newsletter for the last fourteen months has been strategically beneficial to confirming many assumptions as well. This newsletter, written by veterans of many nations, helped identify and clarify these five areas. They are as follows:
1. Government vs. The People
a. In primarily Western democracies, there is a whole-of-government approach to working against the citizens of their own countries. Liberty and freedom are the exceptions in world history, so these ideals are most under attack. This is manifested through variations within the following activities.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (aka Marxism). The division of people into tribes of oppressor and oppressed. Divide and conquer tactics are common throughout history.
Environmental and Social Governance (social credit scores or commonly referenced as ESG). People are tracked and then rewarded or punished based on their political views and what they buy or invest in. Failure to comply with established state requirements means you cannot take part in commerce.
Spying on their own citizens who speak the truth or advocate for freedom and liberty.
Corrupt governing agencies only focus on their agendas and not the good of the people.
Weakening national capabilities for self-defense against adversary nations by pursuing political ideologies over lethality and readiness. Removing merit-based promotions and using compliance to the woke agenda ensures “military leadership” remains compliant.
A fake climate crisis wastes precious resources in pursuit of failed programs based on bad science.
A nexus of government, media, and crony corporatism.
2. Immigration Invasion
a. Countries across Europe, as well as the United States and Canada, are all dealing with an Immigration Invasion along with the violence and crime it causes. In Dublin, Ireland, groups are dropped off at the city center in the hundreds. We are bombarded with constant reports of robberies, stabbings, rapes, and assaults along with other criminal activities in other areas in Europe. This illegal immigration invasion pattern and acceptance will likely lead to greater violence if/when the invaders unite and work together to further political aims, push extreme religious agendas, and attack critical infrastructure. If removed from being on taxpayer-supported handouts, the violence will come quickly. Facilitating these invasions is/are:
China. This includes planning, financing, acquiring equipment like cell phone trackers and jammers, and buying politicians, media, and businesses to help cover up their actions.
The United Nations. For one example, they run the camp in the Darien Gap of Panama where the invaders are housed and prepared for movement to the United States.
Non-Governmental Organizations, including religious charities.
Weak governments who will not enforce their own borders.
From a military planner’s perspective such as mine, this is an obvious operation encompassing four stages. Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration. During my numerous overseas tours this was the same model we used to plan deployments of personnel and equipment into combat zones or major training exercises and prepare them for operations. In short, it was known as RSOI.
Reception – Personnel and equipment are received in a location built for the purpose of housing them and allowing time to prepare them for the next phases of the operation.
Staging – They are moved into a position to prepare them for movement to a new location in an organized fashion, with mission and purpose as the determining factor for how they are staged.
Onward Movement – In Central America this is the movement of illegal aliens from Panama through Mexico, across the Texas border, and into locations across the United States. In various parts of the world this happens by other means, but for the same reason. Also, in the United States, there is the perception that the movement of these illegal aliens by bus to states where there are “sanctuary cities” is not a positive thing. In fact, this is taxpayer money paying for the transport of terror cells to cities around the country.
Integration – in this case the invaders are “integrated” into society in a way that allows them to blend in until they are activated for their missions.
In military terms, the completion of RSOI means that multiple pieces are put together to form units into combat ready forces ready to pursue their specific mission. This should concern every nation overrun by these so called “migrants.” The picture below better reflects what’s happening on the border. The graphics are depictions of an enemy military invading the Southern United States. Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution requires the federal government “protect each [state] against invasion,” they have failed. This immigration invasion is no different than having a uniformed army invading.
a. Though China is spiraling towards failure itself, and faster than many countries, the CCP seems to want to bring other nations down with it. Its economy is failing, and that failure centers on real estate. Its one-child policy is coming home to roost as men outnumber women 2-1. Its military remains one more suited to a circular firing squad focused on internal security than an expeditionary force capable of carrying out the threats it levels to get nations to get them to toe the line. These facts do not prevent China from “waging war” on nations around the world. They continue to do this through:
Industrial espionage.
Manipulating and corrupting education systems.
Buying up land and commodities.
Owning companies and dictating their policies.
Attempting to supplant the Petro-dollar by expanding BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and Saudi Arabia), and BRI (Belt and Road Initiative).
Pushing for a global World Health Organization-led pandemic treaty that seeks to supplant individual medical freedom and, through compliant politicians, create a state of medical tyranny if the WHO decides something is a pandemic. Think 2020 COVID on steroids.
Infesting a variety of United Nations agencies to influence of control their agendas. Like cancer cells, they start small and spread.
4. Europe (Ukraine/Russia)
The wool is coming off the eyes of countries who looked at the Ukraine/Russia war as simply good guy vs. bad guy. Though Ukraine is not a member of NATO and could not have qualified to join prior to the invasion anyway, it remains a NATO focus and a NATO problem. There is a legitimate concern about Russia expanding its efforts. However, they are already paying an extremely heavy price to control approximately twenty percent of Eastern Ukraine. Russia’s military is dangerous, but this author told groups for twenty years that Russia is not the picture of a powerful Russian bear we like to paint. Dangerous? – yes; All powerful? – not even close.
The real danger of this conflict from a global perspective is to draw in nations’ war material and money to fund what is just another corrupt government. The sad thing is the war could easily have been prevented. If Biden had given Putin assurances the US would not vote “yes” to NATO membership for Ukraine, we probably wouldn’t have this war. As it appears this war has been in the planning since at least 2014. Given the amount of planning time put into the plotting necessary to achieve this invasion, and based on the sources I work with in the Global Veterans Coalition and other people I speak to, it is clear why so many politicians were ready to paint this war as good vs. evil. It is what they wanted. It is, in fact, thug vs. thug played on the global stage to the advantage of the globalists’ mission.
European nations are still assessing the vulnerabilities this conflict exposed. Currency manipulation, willingness to stockpile precious metals, overreliance on the United States for defense, and access to energy are a few examples. Will these remain only lessons, or will they become lessons learned that drive positive change? It is too early to tell.
The next great challenge will be what Ukraine looks like when Russia enjoys what looks to be an imminent victory. Ukraine cannot sustain this war the way Russia can. Manpower and money are both an overmatch, with Russia dominating. Draw a straight line from Odessa to Kharkiv, color everything to the east Russian, and you get a concept of what a reduced Ukraine could look like.
5. Israel (Middle East/Central Asia)
a. As always, the Middle East tinderbox revolves around all issues related to Israel and those who live in the region once called Palestine. We do not seek to dive into the details of the conflict's religious nature but acknowledge that it is a religious war made worse through historical ignorance. For example, Palestine is a region and has never been a country, and thus, there are Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Arabs, and Palestinian Christians. On the religious side, it’s Muslim vs. Jew, Shia vs. Sunni, Christian vs. many of the above, and a myriad of smaller details that time and space don’t allow for here. There are other aspects that are necessary to point out as well:
Iran and Saudi Arabia are rivals. This is more than Shia vs. Sunni; it’s also about oil and the funding gained from its sale.
War as deceit is a crucial component of war in the Middle East and remains crucial to understanding all conflicts in the region. For example, the Oslo Accords, signed on the White House lawn in 1993, were a deception. Yassir Arafat admitted it later in life. This is why no nuclear deal with Iran is worth signing; they will not follow it. Though the Abraham Accords yielded positive results, they too must be endorsed with great caution.
It is about money. The United States has unfortunately caused much of the strife in the Middle East by directly or indirectly freeing up funding to nations like Iran. Iran is well-known as the primary source of terror throughout the Middle East and in some areas of Central Asia. Four years ago, Iran had only $8B in reserves; today, they have $80B, and their close ties to Russia and China mean they will continue to invest in terror by selling oil, drones, and other military materials. The United Nations is another concern. For example, funding to the UN went to UNRWA which took part in the creation of the world’s largest terrorist training camp in the Gaza strip.
The so-called two-state solution in Israel will never work. If the war in Gaza results in a United Nations-administered two-state solution, the world can expect more wars as the UN creates the conditions for terrorism in places like Gaza. Something nations like Iran are happy to take advantage of.
The Abraham Accords worked and could again be applied if real peace were desired. Unfortunately, failed foreign policy pursuits by Obama and Biden had the same results. The price for this continued folly is paid in Blood and Treasure on all sides of the conflict.
Just like with the war in Ukraine, the future is murky, and it does not look good.
Though I describe this as a five-front war, I cannot ignore the fact that there is the perpetual presence of a spiritual battle. I will address this in a future article titled “Expect The Evil.” The good news is we know who wins in the end.
