Just as Holly Golightly did in the famous Capote film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, DeSantis and Trump had breakfast together to search for connections. In Capote’s own words, “the outsider stands with nose pressed against the glass, wanting what is inside”.

    Seems apt.

The failed POTUS candidate reached out to, and met for breakfast with, Donald Trump in Hollywood, FL, last week, for the first time since he’d returned to Tallahassee, tail tucked.

In our fast-changing, weird world, relevance is desperately sought.

James Carville, the shriveled leftist sycophant, is scrambling to regain his relevance by trying to tell 26-year-olds how to vote. Carville has been a mouthpiece for the Left for years, while they taught young people that old people were irrelevant and useless breathers. Now, he’s all pissy because he has become one of those throw-aways, and the kids aren’t listening to him. Worse, his candidate is an “irrelevant one”, too!

And, Ron? Remember all of your slams of Trump on the campaign trail? You said he would let dangerous criminals out of jail, and other bunk. Were those the J6ers you were referring to? The patriots who recognized a stolen election when they saw one, and went to Washington to tell Congress? The ones you said, in Jan. 2021, should be arrested?

Now, you, too, search for relevance.

Both James Carville and Ron DeSantis have trouble with things they’ve said and done in the past which have come back to haunt them.

DeGov has lost a LOT of support in Florida after his lies to his constituency about matters like medical freedom, election integrity and fulfilling his term as governor - to name but a few. The J6 families - of which Florida has more than any other state in the union - heard him say, in the immediate aftermath of the coup-staged violence, that their family members deserved to be thrown in jail.

Standing with the big insurance companies against his constituents hasn’t endeared him to too many either. I’ll spare you more detail, which you know I can give.

Then, on the campaign trail, he took hits at Trump, instead of explaining how HE, Ron DeGreat, would run the country better. Little man stuff.

So Carville will probably never tell the Gen X, Y and Z’ers to listen to their elders, but DeRINO did ask Trump to breakfast. Looking in that window.

Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis did dine this past Sunday at a private club in Hollywood, FL, at the request of DeSantis, The meeting was set up by a wealthy influential Trump friend, Steve Witkof. It was the first meeting between the two since DeSantis ended his failed campaign and crawled back to Florida. Looking in that window for relevance.

Since his campaign ended, DeGov has made a concerted effort to stay in touch with what remains of the people who supported his Presidential campaign and has promised them that he would help fund-raise for Trump, according to sources quoted by CNN. He felt it necessary to emphasize - again - that he has no intention of serving as VP.

I’m thinking Trump has no intention of asking him to.

Ron has ruled nothing out, he told supporters in a private conversation, at an “appreciation retreat” with DeGov’s RINO power base. Maybe he hopes Pres. Trump will pop the question, and wants his support group to be ready?

I, for one, pray that Ronald DeSantis is not in Trump’s intended inner circle. Ever. Trump does NOT need anymore back-stabbing Globalists to surround his next Presidency. WE need him at 100% for four years.

Ok…just askin’, but how private was this conversation with DeSantis’s insiders, if the media knew of it within 24 hours of the meal? Or, was this statement a lead to be sent via back channels to Donald Trump? Ah, politics…

Deceit and hidden agendas in politics are what have turned a lot of America against the process. Now that we need the engagement of everyone, we are left with the few who can stomach and/or are fascinated and intrigued by it all. Snap to, America. EVERYONE. Time to get involved. It’s now or never. We’re ALL disgusted by what’s going down.

DeSantis supporters believe that this detente could add value (read $$$) to Trump’s campaign. Although DeFlop has endorsed Trump, he has not appeared with him anywhere. Trump was reportedly very happy to have Ron’s support, to help Make America Great Again, and said that was the topic of the meeting.

I’d been reading of late, how DeSantis is re-gaining approval from some of the citizens on whom he stepped in his rush to the campaign trail. That is because he’s on the road again, with his dog and pony shows. Possibly, too, some of those who quit his POTUS campaign are back, seeking relevance themselves.

After his inglorious return, and a few months of licking wounds in Tallahassee while the state’s voting machines were exposed as the insecure mess that they are, he got back on the appearance trail, and his handlers have set up the issues on which he is to perform.

DeGov is very good at dog and pony shows (aka, pressers), like the medical freedom issue and election integrity, et. al. At one point, he’d actually convinced many that these bills were to protect them. Of course, no one actually read the legislation once it was in the books. This is his style. Bills are altered at the last minute. He counts on people’s short memories, and busy schedules, or whatever, while his handlers keep him out front on issues the people care about.

This time, he’s pressing on the schools, abortion and public safety issues, all very popular in Florida.

Illegal immigration, THE #1 issue in the country, has also occupied his words of late, but I’ve heard nothing about specifics from DePretender. SC Governor, Henry McMaster, has launched an investigation after learning that the local Soc Sec. office in Spartanburg was giving illegals voter registration packets.

Florida has been giving non-citizens voter registration forms since before the beginning of DeSantis’s first term. We have to assume that DeGov knows all about it, and apparently, approves.

How about the letter from the HIAS/Resource Center Metamoras which is being sent to illegals in Florida with an OPEN REMINDER TO VOTE FOR BIDEN when in the US? Addressing this blatant bit of treason occurring in his own state, should have sent a pro-American political leader to the nearest microphone, as in SC.

There is also the news that over 80% of the illegals on DHS’s parole program, have been flown to the state of Florida! Does Florida’s highest official not know this, or does he not care??? Either way, it’s very bad and very dangerous for Florida.

WHERE IS RON DESANTIS, REALLY, ON THE SUBJECT OF THE INVASION OF AMERICA? It’s the main concern of voters, and inquiring minds want to know.

His own party, too, has been acting a bit anti-American lately. MUCH more on this very soon.

The recent RPOF idiocy reminds me of the harassment bill that Tallahassee was supporting, which called for election workers to be able to accuse citizens who asked too many questions with a jailable offense. That’s the bill, if you remember, that has been nationally sponsored by the very leftist organization, Election Officials Legal Defense Network (EOLD). The outrageous law - which protects election workers from questions and/or criminal investigation - has now passed in 18 states. This means that, in 18 states, any citizens who questions or tried to prove malfeasance at the polls can be thrown in jail at the word of an election official. Had it not been for Floridians calling and writing their elected representatives, Florida would have been #19.

But, it’s ok for illegals to vote??

This past March, 2024, an Obama judge in Florida’s North District struck down that part of the “election integrity” bill (7050) which made non-citizen voting a felony. Where’s the uproar in Tallahassee about THAT? Does DeSantis even KNOW about it?

Let’s face it, DeGlobalist is still the same as he has always been, and Florida knows it. He is using his monied RINO supporters to stay relevant in 2024. But, just like trust once broken, relevancy once lost, is impossible to regain, especially with the people you screwed. Think the J6 families whom he has studiously ignored for over three years are ready to put him on a national pedestal? Me either.

    Reality has a long memory.

The Florida Republican establishment thinks that we have the “gold standard” in election integrity, and that grassroots conservatives who raise objections about confirming US citizenship of voters, crooked voting machines, and Vote-By-Mail being ripe for fraud, are all a bunch of cranks!
