COLUMBUS - In a decisive victory, Josh McKoon has emerged as the new Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party (GOP).
McKoon, a seasoned political figure, has gained a loyal following throughout his political career.
His election to the coveted position of Chairman of the Georgia GOP comes as no surprise to those who have been closely following the party's dynamics.
One of the notable highlights of McKoon's involvement in Georgia politics was his tenure as a member of the Georgia State Senate. He represented District 29 from 2011 to 2019.
During his time in the State Senate, McKoon was instrumental in advancing the cause of religious freedom. He sponsored the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), which aimed to protect the rights of individuals and businesses to exercise their religious beliefs without undue interference from government. Although the RFRA faced opposition and did not ultimately become law, McKoon's efforts in advocating for religious freedom earned him recognition among conservative circles.

I’m not clear how honorable McKoon is to voters wishes. Just as I am still wondering how raffensberger won every county in Ga and how kemp’s behavior is questionable in many areas.
You mean he's been a senator since 2011 and he "advocates" election integrity? Georgia's elections are just as bad as Arizona's... McKoon seems closer to an establishment Republican RINO with 12 years of nothing results.
