The consequences of Angela Merkel's chancellorship have been disastrous for Germany.
Germany forgot Merkel was an East German communist and a natural ally of KGB operative Vladimir Putin, who also speaks fluent German.
Let's look at the consequences of Merkel rule, shall we?
First - the European Union was stood up in its full fascist glory.
The EU is not a republic, not a democracy. It is a tyrannical socialist, unaccountable regime created by Germany and France to rule the Continent. Just look at their freakout over Brexit and you'll see all you need to know.
Second - Merkel pushed demographic replacement for Germany, allowing millions of Middle Eastern migrants to flow into the country. Germany has never been the same. The routine terror attacks at Christmas parades prove this.
Third - Merkel allowed German military capability to be destroyed. German aircraft cannot fly due to readiness issues. They have less than 100 aircraft combat ready. The German Army uses broomsticks for rifles during training as they don't have enough weapons to arm their soldiers. Their tanks are not combat ready. It goes on and on.
President Trump famously called them out for all of this. Yet, only after Trump was illegally forced from office, and Russia invaded Ukraine, did Germany allocate $100 billion this year to upgrade its military.
Finally -- Merkel made Germany dependent on Russia for energy,; its economy and therefore its future is mortgaged to the Kremlin. Merkel did this by bowing to the 'green' agenda and ending Berlin's nuclear power industry. Now Germany literally does not have enough power for the coming winter, as Russia has turned off the gas for a political outcome.
Even after the fall of the Soviet Union, it seems the KGB got its way after all in the long run.

Had dear friends from Germany, visited me in 2015. Talked long and hard about world politics, and they had already been taught to hate DJT. They told me at the time, when I raaised the issues above that Merkel was considered 'conservative" in Germany. I grieve for them.
Too bad Germany. Der fueher, Merkel led you down the wrong path en spite of Trump and others warning.
I have no sympathy.
