I don't buy it.
Errrr... I would like to see more and impartial evidence. I don't believe a word clown-world says. And for the life of me, I can't understand why they would? What benefit could it possibly have for Russia? Were they carrying cargo? Was there a passenger on board...? There's no logical reason to, especially considering they are flying in and around russian-aligned countries?
I do not trust clown-world, they're a bug in search of a windshield to start WW3.
There's ample proof now that Russia attacked this aircraft including the fact that they refused to allow an emergency landing. They used the drones as their excuse for firing a missile at it. There may have been someone aboard who they wanted to get rid of, or they had some other reason, but this is their work.
