Once again, a mainstream journal, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) gets it right. The WSJ identifies the now common place occurrence of the spoofing of Global Positioning System (GPS) signals. This was becoming well known in the wonkish policy and operations world, but now this story breaks out into the mainstream. If GPS is compromised, this means that the adjunct system known as ADS-B for air traffic and AIS (Automatic Identification System) is also compromised.
