British Prime Minister Theresa May reached out to communist Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn today in an attempt to find a deal to leave the European Union that she could get through parliament, signaling a complete betrayal to the British people and their desire to regain their sovereignty from Brussels.

"Today I'm taking action to break the logjam, she declared.

"I'm offering to sit down with the leader of the opposition and try to agree a plan that we would both stick to to ensure we leave the EU and we do so with a deal.

"Any plan would have to agree the current Withdrawal Agreement - it has already been negotiated with the 27 other members and the EU has repeatedly said it cannot and will not be re-opened."

Corbyn declared he would be “very happy” to meet her, and the first response from the EU side was positive (of course it was).

The prime minister’s appeal to the opposition Labour Party leader opens the door to the possibility of a much softer form of Brexit, potentially keeping the U.K. inside the EU’s customs union. It would be a massive breach of May’s own negotiating red lines, but good news for business, reported Bloomberg.

“This debate, this division, cannot drag on much longer...It requires national unity to deliver the national interest," said May in a televised address.

“I’m very happy to meet the prime minister,...I don’t want to set any limits, one way or the other, ahead of those meetings. We recognize that she has made a move," added Corbyn, while also declaring he wants Britain to stay in the customs union with the EU.
