PARIS - Despite Western attempts to disrupt and prevent the Iranian resistance movement from holding its annual demonstration in Paris, the protest went forward last Saturday in the French capitol.
French authorities used the threat of violence to try and ban the demonstration by the PMOI/MEK, but the French judiciary intervened and ordered Paris officials to stand down and allow the rally.
However, in spite of the alleged threats, there were no French police to be seen at the outdoor protest, which was curious. Of course, the rest of Paris was burning due to waves of uncontrolled immigration from African and Arab nations.
On June 19 Reuters confirmed that following a 90 minutes phone call between the French President Emmanuel Macron and the Iranian regime’s president Ebrahim Raisi, France had banned the event.
The appeasement from Western authorities towards the mullah's in Iran, at the expense of the Iranian people, has been well-documented.
The U.S. State Department coordinated with French authorities and issued a 'terror advisory' and threat of violence to urge demonstrators not to attend.
But, attend they did, by the thousands as the Iranian diaspora showed its determination to bring down the regime in Tehran.
