The value of developing sources for serious journalism is reviewing history of those who stood up in the past when something like COVID gripped the world because nothing just happens overnight.

At CDMedia, we have been very fortunate in our deep dive on PHARMA corruption. Leopards do not change their spots.  We have examined documents and renewed relationships with those involved in the anthrax vaccinations in the 1990s onward. History is important in revealing the steps taken that have evolved to where we are today because this issue is not vanishing.

Meet one of our valuable sources who is joining us on our American Conversations stage in Chicago on April 20, 2023, Colonel Tom Rempfer.

    IN HIS OWN WORDS -

I was grateful to accept an invitation to support my former military colleagues and fellow aviators for a panel on April 20, 2023. The mission – to examine harmful impacts of COVID countermeasure mandates.

My gratitude stems from experiences over 20-years ago in professionally challenging the illegal anthrax vaccine mandate within the armed forces. That mandate’s violation of the law impacted a small fraction of our nation’s population, but more recent illegal mandates affected hundreds of millions of Americans. I’m grateful today that the entire country can empathize with the struggles we faced many years ago as many courageous citizens now challenge government and private sector medical overreach and errors.

My historic observations across three decades began when the Congress’ awareness of experimentation on our troops with investigational unapproved medical products resulted in laws to prohibit these dangerous abuses and maltreatment of our troops as “guinea pigs.” An un-appealed federal court found the government’s conduct “not substantially justified” in the early 2000’s. By 2005, Congress passed the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) law to allow use of unapproved investigational medical products, but on a strictly voluntary basis. There could be “no penalty,” no punishment, and no loss of benefits. Anthrax vaccine became the first-ever application of that law. This EUA intersection led to COVID shot mandates, most also declared illegal. The government blatantly violated the law again, brazenly defying the will of Congress a second time, until courts intervened and Congress halted the military mandate.

Some would argue the COVID shot mandates are not illegal, despite the law explicitly stating that citizens have “the option to accept or refuse administration of the product.” The flawed argument hinges on one word in the law about “consequences.” But the context of “consequences” is gleaned not only in the military precedent related to voluntary EUA products, but also from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) provisions on informed consent and protection of human subjects. Any “consequences” are strictly medical-based for clinical trials – there is no job loss – participation is “without penalty or loss of benefits.” The voluntary context is academic. The wording in the EUA law for all citizens matches the Federal Register affirmation to protect our troops from experimentation and the CFR guaranteeing protection of human subjects and informed consent. Sadly, the government ignored the law over two decades ago with anthrax vaccine and now they repeated the same bad behaviors with COVID mandates.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr and his Children’s Health Defense charity approached me early in 2021 to assist in lead turning the anticipated bad behaviors and draft a Citizen Petition to the FDA. A similar Citizen Petition I cosigned 20-years earlier, along with the primary author, the late LtCol Russell E. Dingle, became the foundational basis of the illegality rulings against the anthrax vaccine. The federal court cited our Petition. Like our cautionary tale, unfortunately the government ignored RFK Jr’s warnings and launched mandates despite the President’s initial hesitancy: “I don’t think it should be mandatory. I wouldn’t demand it to be mandatory.” Dr. Anthony Fauci agreed by saying, “I don’t think you’ll ever see a mandating of vaccine particularly for the general public.” CDC agreed as well, until the script changed.

“The federal government does not mandate (require) vaccination”

Top officials, in every sector, flip flopped, but gratefully multiple federal district and appellate courts, and even the U.S. Supreme Court, ruled against the government and halted most all of the mandates. Simply because corporations, local or state entities can mandate FDA-approved countermeasures that doesn’t translate to mandates for experimental products. It makes no sense, and that's why it is protected by federal law. It is shameful and embarrassing that the government did not protect our citizens and the military did not stand up for our troops to ensure the choice to accept or refuse emergency use authorized medical products. Instead, they perpetuated a gargantuan fraud on the American public that FDA approved vaccines were available. They were not then or now. Instead, the government stealthily, simultaneously, and repeatedly reauthorized the EUAs, providing liability shields for the manufacturers.

Throughout our lonely path 25-years ago, we were grateful for the support of great Americans like Ross Perot. Following his lead, we never gave up, and today I am proud to return the mutual support to our colleagues who fulfilled their oath office, honor code and core values. As pilots, we must GO AROUND during risky conditions – we never rush to comply. But that's exactly what many government and business leaders did – they seized the mandates, ignored the law, and rushed to punish noncompliance. In contrast, I am grateful for gutsy Americans like Dr. Harvey Risch, Dr. Peter McCullough, and many others. They, along with champions like RFK Jr, execute their citizen duty to call out the gargantuan fraud. To them “doing the right thing” is what they actually do. They strive to return our country to its ‘proximal origins,’ to fix injustices, to compel the government to follow the law, and to protect our citizen's rights.

These courageous Americans stand tall above the non-practitioner government and industry shills who cling to a corrupt narrative using dishonorable tools of disparagement, censorship, deplatforming, and disinformation. They tried, unsuccessfully, to pit Americans against each other with their ill-advised “pandemic of the unvaccinatedsoundbites and dire predictions of unvaccinated severe illness and death. The derisive tactics are unacceptable – their predictions were wrong, including about natural immunity. While being charitable and forgiving, it would be imprudent to not seek justice and encourage a recentering of core values and ideals away from the vitriol and back to our Founding Father’s vision.

I hope all Americans will share my gratitude by following these brave leaders who learned the lessons of history, who didn’t take the groupthink bait, and who strive to get our nation back on the beam. We need a course correction. We need courageous custodians of our rights. We need champions who don’t ignore the past, and don’t repeat mistakes like the anthrax vaccine with current EUA adulterations of law.

I will be grateful to see you in Chicago on the picket line for medical freedom as we support our fellow Americans who have been harmed by the mandates. All Americans should join them in compelling our government to comply with the law or to remove and replace it with heroic leaders who will protect us.

Never give in, never give in, never, never, never.
