    Despite long-term low interest rates, and a greatly expanded money supply and balance sheet of the Federal Reserve, inflation remains muted, for decades. Whether this phenomenon holds true with a rebalancing of the US-Chines trade relationship remains to be seen. The era of cheap Chinese goods may be over.
