U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin spoke with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Friday and “underscored the importance of protecting civilians during the Israel Defense Forces’ operations and focusing on the urgency of humanitarian aid delivery for civilians in Gaza.”

Austin also brought up “the need for Hamas to release all of the hostages.”

By Saturday, Gallant stood shoulder to shoulder with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Bennie Gantz, the Leader of the Opposition Party demonstrating a united front for Israel's survival and its "War for Humanity.”

Their message noted that if Israel does not do what they are planning to do with Hamas, their very existence is at stake as are regional countries and Israel's allies.

"We do not have a diplomatic stop watch - we will listen to friends, but we will do what is right for us," Gantz declared.

"This is Absolute Evil v. Absolute Justice and Justice will win," Gantz added.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu predicted Israel’s efforts will be “triumphant."

What lays ahead though is the larger scope of this war with pivotal points on a near daily basis.

Arab nations, including U.S. allies and ones that have reached peace deals and normalcy with Israel have raised increasing concerns over Israel's ground invasion.

No one is naive about the potential fallout and potential casualties from urban warfare, incredibly difficult tunnel searches for Hamas leaders and hostages, and the dire humanitarian situation for those inside Gaza.

The “outcome will be a humanitarian catastrophe of epic proportions for years to come," Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi posted on X.

Lynn Hastings, U.N. humanitarian coordinator for the occupied territories, had already posted on X Oct. 17 about the rising death counts in the West Bank.

The Israeli government has been distributing weapons to their citizens for their own protection.

The Red Crescent has been reporting that their personnel have been hit by Israel rockets inside Gaza on social media.

With the blackout of the internet on Friday, medical teams and residents will not be communicating.

Residents will not be able to call for ambulances for those in need.

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has joined in expressing alarms for the internet blackout.

“CPJ is highly alarmed by reports of a communications blackout in Gaza alongside intensified bombing & ground operations by Israeli forces. A communications blackout is a news blackout. This can lead to serious consequences with an independent, factual information vacuum that can be filled with deadly propaganda, dis- and misinformation. CPJ is aware that many journalists remain on the ground in Gaza and many international journalists have flocked to Israel to cover the war. We remind all warring factions – including outside of Israel’s internationally recognized borders – that journalists are civilians and must be respected and protected by all warring parties in accordance with international humanitarian law. Deliberately targeting journalists or media infrastructure constitute possible war crimes,” reads CPJ’s reaction to the internet blackout.

Israel is claiming Hamas leadership is hiding in the tunnels - the "Gaza metro."

On Saturday, Netanyahu stated that Iran has been training and funding Hamas, but Israel is not yet convinced that Iran was micro-planning the Oct. 7 attack.

This past week the Islamic Republic of Iran ramped up its aggression against Israeli targets and American troops.

On Thursday, Tehran's Foreign Minister Hossein delivered a blistering threat to the United States before the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

"We have never been after the expansion of the war," Abdollahian stated.

If the Americans "don't want the war to spread out they need to stop the Zionist regime. If this "genocide" in Gaza does not end, American "will not be spared from this fire," Abdollahian declared.

Abdollahian demanded the release of 6,000 Palestinians in Israel jails in exchange for the hostages Hamas kidnapped on Oct. 7 in his UN address.

In response, former Secretary of State Michael Pompeo weighed in with outrage. He served in that postion during the Trump administration.

"When the murderous Iranian FM wanted to come to NYC in 2020, I said no," Pompeo posted on X.

Pompeo was referring to Javad Zarif, who was denied a visa in 2020 by the Trump administration.

Pompeo referred to Abdollahian as a man with "blood on his hands," while he "sits in luxury in our country, his regime is holding innocent American hostages in horrific conditions."

Abdollahian is a veteran of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps' Quds force.

Intelligence operatives spotted him in Beirut and other locations conferring with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah on the eve of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack in Israel.

Since then, he has been spotted in Baghdad, Damacus, and Beirut.

Although the Biden administration has been warming up to Iran since 2021, President Biden stated on Wednesday, "My warning to the Ayatollah was that if they continue to move against those troops, we will respond, and he should be prepared."

The Wall Street Journal reported Abdollahian’s movements on Oct. 8, indicating his involvement in organizing the Oct. 7 attacks.

Under the UN’s host country agreement, the U.S. is obligated to admit officials wishing to participate in UN deliberations, but there are exceptions to that rule.

U.S. laws permits the denial of visas to those posing a “security, terrorism, or foreign policy” threat to America.

So what is Secretary of State Tony Blinken thinking?

Why would the Biden White House allow Abdollahian’s presence on U.S. soil while U.S. hostages are somewhere in Gaza?
