On February 3, a 150-car train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. To keep the volatile chemicals it was transporting from randomly combusting, a perimeter was established, and then a controlled burn and subsequent explosion sent a billowing black mushroom cloud hundreds of feet into the air. In the weeks since, locals have reported an alarming number of dead animals, rainbow-colored water, and mystery illnesses. Now, after weeks of silence, FEMA has announced that East Palestine is "not eligible for assistance at this time."

Not only is FEMA refusing to offer assistance, but the Biden administration is also turning a blind eye as residents of East Palestine overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

Despite Ohio Governor Mike DeWine requesting assistance from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health and Emergency Response Team, and the CDC, residents of East Palestine have not only not received any assistance, but they have also been unable to get simple questions answered.

DeWine has also been in daily contact with FEMA and requesting assistance, but the Federal Emergency Management Agency has argued that East Palestine, a city with a black mushroom cloud rising from the center of it and creeks filled with dead fish and colorful water, does not currently qualify for assistance.

While the blue-collar residents of East Palestine struggle to afford the bottled water they are now required to drink, those responsible for dealing with the disaster are pointing fingers and turning their attention to the next woke culture crisis.

Instead of coordinating assistance or visiting East Palestine to oversee the cleanup of the Norfolk Southern train derailment, Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, is complaining that too many white people work in construction. He has also put blame for the derailment and subsequent environmental disaster on former President Donald Trump - who left office 2 years ago.

It has been a full 2 weeks since the derailment, and the following controlled chemical spill. Still, no senior Biden official, including Pete Buttigieg, has visited the Ohio city, offered assistance, or even answered questions regarding the catastrophe. The apathy, lack of assistance, and utter refusal to do their job on the part of, Pete Buttiege, Joe Biden, and others in his administration is nothing short of a dereliction of duty at this point.

Where are all the climate change-crazed Democrats now?
