This past week Daily Caller News Foundation investigative reporter Jennie Taer confronted Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg after she spotted him in a public space.

In light of the severe and dangerous train derailment carrying over a million pounds of hazardous chemicals in Easton Palestine, Ohio on February 3, and the dangerous fallout from the accident, Taer did what any journalist would do, she asked the secretary for a comment.

The derailment has upended the lives and businesses of the local citizens, raised serious environmental questions, and left many unanswered questions. The story is one of the leading US stories. The Biden administration’s response to this disaster has been stunning and unacceptable.

At that point in time that Taer asked for a comment, both Buttigieg and President Biden had not visited Ohio.

President Joe Biden surreptitiously slipped into Ukraine this week to meet with President Zelensky for a photo-op as the financial kingpin to the television personality turned politician and global panhandling proxy war puppet.

The US proxy war between Russia and NATO and Ukraine is clearly about removing Putin from power. There has been no serious peace negotiations to put an end to this conflict. The diplomatic table is empty. Wars end when diplomats are locked in negotiations. Not when crises are ginned up.

It is a war that most of the global south of the world does not agree with, and many Europeans disagree with also. Europeans know that the Minsk Agreement has been violated. Zelensky tossed them out publicly months before February 2022. The global south from South America to Africa have benefitted from their relationship with Russia.

It is clear that Biden’s peace rhetoric is nothing but wasted words. His game is to use Zelensky to get rid of Putin because Putin is no globalist and Biden has demonstrated repeatedly that he is. Biden is on the verge of handing the US health sovereignty over to the W.H.O.

Taer, on the other hand, should be applauded for confronting Buttigieg. Journalists should be more aggressive confronting everyone in the Biden administration and those on K Street who are supporting the Biden administration’s corruption. This administration has run amuck of morality, decency, and continues to lie repeatedly to the American public. They should be held accountable on every front.

Any editor worth their weight in gold would have hoped Taer would have asked Buttigieg for a comment. He had not yet visited the Ohio site.

Buttigieg then attempted to flip the situation on Taer and took her picture.

That was childish and an act of intimidation that fell flat because Taer was not intimidated. Buttigieg’s action was both arrogant and unfit for a public servant, and he owes Taer not only an apology, he ought to answer the question, “What did you intend to do with Taer’s picture?”

Perhaps, the secretary does not fully comprehend what the job of a journalist is. The Fourth Estate was created to hold people like Buttigieg and Biden accountable. The Ohio derailment falls under the Department of Transportation.

Perhaps, Buttigieg may want to ask some who served in the Obama administration about US taxpayers monies that were spent by USAID when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. Biden is familiar with that policy as he served as Vice-President.

The USAID, an independent federal agency, which receives guidance from the Department of State, in conjunction with BIG TECH, spent millions of dollars training so-called foreign civil societies about how to use social media in order to hold their government officials accountable during the Obama/Biden administration.

In the end, what USAID did was a wee bit different than its stated justification for spending those monies. The USAID trained foreign civil dissidents how to use social media and BIG TECH to overthrow despots who had fallen in disfavor with the mission of the US foreign policy. Think Arab Rising and Gaddafi of Libya and Mubarak of Egypt. There was nothing spontaneous about Arab Rising other than it was ignited by a disgruntled and desperate Tunisian fruit cart owner who set himself ablaze, and the Arab Rising took off across the Middle East and Northern Africa, which then bled into the largest massive migration into Europe since WWII at that time. Let us not forget that the Ukraine crises began in 2014 - not February 2022.

It is high time that US government officials - appointed politicians and elected officials - realize that no matter how they spin their narratives, there are some in our industry who are hellbent on holding them accountable. And, we will stand with those journalists even if they work for competing news organizations.

Taer did her job. It is high time Buttigieg does his. He owes full transparency to the citizens of Ohio, to the public, and to Taer.

It is high time that Biden orders Zelensky to the diplomatic table, stop the endless funding of this conflict, and keep the promises that the West negotiated with Russia years ago.

There is no sane reason on earth to take the world to the brink of a further escalation of this war. Zelensky’s recent brazen statements of taking Red Square is as insane as Putin threatening nukes. Lay down your swords, gentlemen, and end this conflict. Wars only end when diplomacy begins.
