President Donald Trump's counsel sent a formal response to the Senate on Saturday after the president's official summons was received, asking them to reject the articles of impeachment. President Trump and his attorneys make the claim that the first impeachment article, "alleges no crime at all, let alone ‘high Crimes and Misdemeanors,’ as required by the Constitution.”

We also may hear opening arguments from the House Managers and the White House lawyers early next week as well.
