Yesterday President Trump held a Chinavirus briefing in the White House where William Bryan, science and technology advisor to the Department of Homeland Security secretary, told reporters that government scientists had found ultraviolet rays destroy the COVID-19 pathogen. The National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center proved that sunlight moved the half-life of Chinavirus from 18 hours in normal indoor conditions to under 2 minutes when outside on a summer day. This wonderful news was greeted with skepticism and disappointment by the Fake News media but it offered hope to every normal American that the contagion spread will end during the spring and summer.
As a tool to illustrate the results of the DHS testing and the impact of heat, humidity and UV light on the Chinavirus Mr. Bryan showed the barking seals who populate the press pool a chart. At line number 4 he explained, "If you look at the fourth line, you inject summer — the sunlight into that. You inject UV rays into that. The same effects on line two — as 70 to 35 degrees with 80 percent humidity on the surface. And look at line four, but now you inject the sun. The half-life goes from six hours to two minutes. That’s how much of an impact UV rays has on the virus." No politician or journalist has yet criticised Mr. Bryan for claiming it's possible to "inject" sunlight into a PowerPoint chart.
The President thanked Mr. Bryan for his presentation and speculated about the possibility of bringing light inside the body to kill the virus and the Under Secretary assured him that government scientist were looking into it. Then Trump said, "Right. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me. So we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s — that’s pretty powerful."
President Trump is a big ideas guy and it's hard for the morons in the corporate media to follow the syntax of his commentary because it doesn't conform to "teleprompter English." Sure enough, there was confusion:
FAKE NEWS SCUM But I — just, can I ask about — the President mentioned the idea of cleaners, like bleach and isopropyl alcohol you mentioned. There’s no scenario that that could be injected into a person, is there? I mean —
ACTING UNDER SECRETARY BRYAN: No, I’m here to talk about the findings that we had in the study. We won’t do that within that lab and our lab. So —
THE PRESIDENT: It wouldn’t be through injection. We’re talking about through almost a cleaning, sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work. But it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object.
The President of the United States did NOT endorse the idea of injecting people suffering the effects of Chinavirus (COVID-19) with Lysol disinfectant. The presentation was about the effects of temperature change and direct exposure to sunlight as a way to thwart the spread of the virus. It is hard for the virus to be transmitted outside and easy for the virus to stay alive in a temperature controlled environments like the homes everyone is self-isolating in right now. It's hard, very hard, to get that simple truth into the thick skulls of America's leaders and commentators.
Today, #Trumpisnotadoctor is trending on Twitter.. The multinational conglomerate RB released a specific statement on improper use of disinfectants to protect the general public from the false narrative the Fake News and social media trolls were pushing. The Democrats, Fake News Media and #NeverTrump haters have lost their minds with anger and fear about the successful way Trump is dealing with the pandemic.
Over the past 24 hours we could list hundreds of articles from "legitimate" news sources which caution readers against drinking or injecting disinfectant into their body. As if the POTUS actually suggested that the sick should eat Tide Pods or swallow a glass of bleach. As though a man who was able to get elected president against insurmountable odds and has been able to remain in office in the face of unprecedented (and illegal) opposition would be stupid enough to suggest injecting a person with Clorox as a cure for anything. It is beyond parody - it is pure stupidity fueled by hate and the mental illness called Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). Sad.
