Judge Reinhart Rules To Release Redacted Affidavit That Led To Trump’s Mar-A-Lago By Noon On Friday

Florida Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Thursday ordered the Justice Department to release their redacted version of the affidavit that accompanied the search warrant the FBI used to search former President Trump's Mar-A-Lago in early August.

Reinhart had ordered the DOJ to submit their redacted suggestions to the court by Thursday. He is now satisfied with DOJ redactions based upon DOJ’s so-called security concerns.

“I find that the Government has met its burden of showing a compelling reason/good cause to seal portions of the Affidavit,” Reinhardt wrote.

The DOJ has until noon on Friday to release the redacted affidavit.
