The election fraud and intimidation has been proven in Georgia from the Secretary of State's office on down.

Georgia officials now want us to think they are combatting election fraud, by throwing the book at one guy who voted twice.

Chief Judge Kristina Graham of Walker County Superior County in Georgia sentenced a Lafayette resident for 25 years in prison with no possibility of parole until 15 years behind bars after it took less than an hour for a jury to find a defendant guilty of voter fraud during the January 2021 runoff election.

“William Chase had signed and delivered the forged absentee ballot, signed the Oath of Elector as the resident, marked the ballot for the resident without the authority to do so, and voted twice in the same election,” stated a Lookout Mountain judicial Circuit District Attorney press release.

Chase had been charged with forgery in the first degree, illegal acts regarding election documents, unlawful acts regarding elector's vote, and repeat voting in same election.

The investigation began when a woman’s absentee ballot did not arrive in the mail, but her husband’s did. She called the Elections Office. It was discovered that her absentee ballot was returned and signed, but not yet counted, and that it had been mailed originally to the wrong address.

The investigation was expanded to who owned the post office box it was originally sent to in Walker County. That box was in Chase’s name.

Then the Secretary of State’s office contacted Georgia’ Bureau of Information and handed over the ballot and envelope for fingerprints, which confirmed Chase’s.

Chase has a criminal record for past fraudulent convictions.

“This defendant sought to disenfranchise a Walker County citizen. Thankfully Mr. Chases ’voter fraud was caught and we had sufficient evidence to successfully prosecute him. This prosecution, along with the stiff prison sentence will hopefully send a clear message that we do not tolerate voter fraud in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit,” stated District Attorney Arnt.
