Some call Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz an “empty suit” politician. Others call him a much-needed yang to Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ ying.

He is from the Midwest where just on paper, Kamala Harris will be tested up against Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Walz is a former high school teacher and football coach who served in the National Guard, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Now, he is the Governor of Minnesota where he has implemented a progressive agenda from tuition-free college to universal school meals. Walz is also the guy who is repeatedly using he word “weird” to characterize the Trump/Vance ticket.

Walz has been auditioning for the vice-presidential slot and so far, he seems to be doing “an exceptional job” because of Midwest grip and sensibility that could register beyond the Midwest to off-set Kamala Harris bi-coastal progressive strength.

Walz is known for his aggressive politicking, but he has smoothed some of those edges over the years. He has gained the trust of some moderate voters, but is it enough to temper Harris’ progressive stances hailing from the San Francisco Bay political style?

Let’s face it - Harris is thought to be more liberal than U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders. She not only failed in her 2020 presidential bid, but dropped out even before the 2020 Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary.

No doubt though, the train wreck heading in Harris' direction will be her border crises that has morphed into a human trafficking operation of epic proportions that has lost tens of thousands of unaccompanied children in the Biden-Harris system, who have been placed in the hands of foreign gang members in the U.S.

Urban cities and rural areas cannot afford the costs of keeping the illegals we do know about housed, fed and waiting for jobs in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and now in rural areas from Wisconsin to Maryland, Pennsylvania and beyond.

Democrats have been hemorrhaging support in rural districts for decades, which could put the down ballot rases at risk this fall.

The Minnesota governor understands “what life is like for people in the middle of the country who live in small towns and rural places and often feel like nobody is really noticing them or paying that much attention to them,” said Senator Tina Smith (D-Minn).

This past weekend, Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, visited the small college town of Stevens Point in central Wisconsin. Before that, he stopped by a Hmong festival just to the north in Wausau, a city surrounded by rural stretches.

But, don’t be fooled, Emhoff also has attended the World Economic Forum and spoke about anti-semitism where he said he has felt “lonely as a Jew.”

Furthermore, Walz is today known as a flip-flopper. While in Congress NRA gave him an “A” rating, but that turned into an “F” rating after he came out in support of an assault weapons ban and other gun control measures during his 2018 gubernatorial bid.

At a weekend Trump rally in Minnesota, the No. 3 House Republican Tom Emmer (Minn.) called Walz an “empty suit,” who has “tried to turn Minnesota into Kamala Harris’ home state of California for the past six years.”

He “should not be allowed anywhere near the White House,” noted Emmer.

Waltz may be an empty suit, but he has an empty head. He recently characterized socialism as a form of neighborliness. Tell that to the Cuban refugees in South Florida!
