U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, flanked by FBI Director Christopher Wray and other officials, addressed the alleged Russian and Iranian interference in the U.S. 2024 presidential election Wednesday, and completely overlooked the British involvement in plain sight welcomed by the Harris-Walz campaign.

Not since the era of President William J. Clinton and U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair Labour leadership have we witnessed such a large outreach of British political operatives to a U.S. democratic presidential campaign.

Not only are the Brits flocking to the Harris-Walz campaign, they have been welcomed with opened arms.

In the old days, Sidney Blumenthal introduced Blair to Clinton. Following their political careers, all still work together and push their Third Wave progressive policies onto the global stage.

Now, it is Kamala Harris’ turn and the British galloping gleefully to the U.S. shores and flocking to Harris’ campaign as fast as they can within days before the first presidential debate between Trump and Harris on September 10 and less than 70 days until Election Day. They all run through the newly elected U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s advisors.

Vice President Kamala Harris is leaning on Deborah Mattinson, a top advisor to the U.K.’s Labor Party, to help advise her campaign.

Mattinson, a top adviser to newly elected U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, is set to travel to Washington, D.C. next week to meet with Harris-Walz campaign strategists.

Mattinson is expected to present a briefing on how Starmer and the Labor Party, a left-wing party affiliated with the Party of European Socialists, elected Starmer on July 4.

The U.K. Labour Party and U.S. Democratic Party are in essence sister political parties. From immigration to housing and confronting the left, Harris Walz strategists are open to the British socialists political playbook.

Several of Starmer’s closest and most trusted Downing Street aides attended the Democratic National Convention in Chicago a few weeks ago, and met with some of the vice president’s campaign team.

Labour’s 2024 election mastermind, Morgan McSweeney, and Downing Street Director of Communications Matthew Doyle were in attendance in Chicago.

Jonathan Ashworth, Director of the Labour Together think tank, was one of Labour’s senior figures in Chicago. The former Member of Parliament was also a key strategist in Labour’s victory in July.

The democrats were “interested in how we made the arguments [on border security], because they intend to make the same arguments as well,” said Ashworth. “We kept reminding people that he was a hard guy who put people behind bars and foiled terrorist plots.”

New Labour Dover and Deal Member of Parliament Mike Tapp was also part of the delegation in Chicago, which was  organized by the Progressive Policy Institute to “pass on some of the knowledge we’ve picked up” in winning elections.”

“The Progressive Policy Institute is a catalyst for policy innovation and political reform with offices in Washington D.C., Brussels and the United Kingdom. Its mission is to create radically pragmatic ideas for moving America beyond ideological and partisan deadlock,” reads the PPI website

PPI was founded in 1989 and connected to the Third Way and Democratic Leadership Council (DLC). Will Marshall is its founder and president. The DLC was a cornerstone of Bill Clinton's rise within the democratic party.

The institute covers a wide-range of policies. Their policies can be found here.

Marshall posted his own op-ed about the two U.S. political convention on the PPI website and republished it in The Hill.

This Brit-American collaboration is one strand of the center-left think tanks and political operatives shaping policy and messaging in Washington and London.

The items up for discussion have included policies that have proven challenging to both parties on each side of the Atlantic, such as immigration, housing and the challenges from the left within their parties on issues such as the Gaza crisis.

This is hardly the first time that the Labour Party operatives have collaborated with the democrats to thrash a republican candidate.

Matthew McGregor, the former Labour digital director, also worked as a campaign strategist for former U.S. President Barack Obama,

"When I joined the Obama digital team in October 2011, I was the 60th member. We ended up with 300 people," he said. "On election day 2008, the Obama campaign tweeted once to its 1 million followers. But on election day 2012, we must have tweeted 300 times to our 27 million followers,” he said in an interview to The Guardian in 2013.

One of McGregor’s toolbox methods in the 2012 campaign was to feed to the liberal press in the U.K. and have it lurk back to the U.S. media and all over social media.

Harris will not just be advised by British political operatives but the line between politics and U.K. media may in fact add to nothing but admirable pieces like this July 2024 Guardian piece, instead of challenging her on policies.

The topics to be discussed next week are expected to be about messaging to those undecided voters and taking on the issues that are important to voters but not such a good track record for Harris.

    Immigration, border security, housing, Gaza.

Border security has always been one of Donald Trump’s signature issues.

One of Harris’ weaknesses against Trump has been the issue of migration across America’s southern border. President Biden charged Harris with tackling illegal migration.

However you shake her leadership qualities, her efforts on the southern border failed miserably and Americans know it. Whether the figure is 9 million or 14 million across the southern border, the latest report reminds Americans that under the Biden Harris administration nearly 300,000 unaccompanied minor children have been lost in the system. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the Biden Harris administration released its finding on August 24, 2024. It can be read in full here.

Border security has always been one of Trump’s primary issues that consistently concerns American and shows up in U.S. polls among the most pressing concerns. The issue also showed up as a major concern for British voters after a surge of small-boat arrivals from France under the Conservative government in the U.K. in the first half of 2024.

During the election campaign, then-Conservative PM Rishi Sunak did his best to portray Labour as being soft on the border. That argument obviously fell flat with Starmer's win in July.

Harris, like Starmer, is now pledging to handle the southern border by taking on transnational smuggling operations led by organized crime groups.

Her TV advertising now claim that Harris “as a border state prosecutor, she took on drug cartels and jailed gang members for smuggling weapons and drugs across the border."

Gaza protests have swept major cities in both countries and disrupted campuses.

Another area where Democrat and Labour political operative could be discussing how to face challenges over Gaza protests that have swept major cities in the U.S. and U.K and on their university campuses and at the Democratic Convention in Chicago.

Harris announced last week that the centerpiece of her new economic platform is a plan to slash red tape for new home buyers. That is a spin-off of what both Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. have spoken about on the campaign trail.

That policy shift showed up in British polls earlier this year and was unveiled by Starmer in October 2023 and now incorporated in his government’s economic strategy.

Harris is “woke." She embraced the 2020 defund the police movement in the U.S. Starmer, too, was mocked for taking the knee with Black Lives Matters in U.K.

Specifically, Mattinson is advising that the "'hope and change stuff’ be put aside and that Harris stay focused on undecided swing state voters.

The vice president did put forth one policy platform that is for “no tax on tips,” but it is a message Trump first put forth in the 2024 political vernacular.

The vice president previously endorsed a ban on fracking, supported mandatory federal gun buybacks and the abolition of private health insurance during her 2019 presidential campaign.  Since hitting the 2024 presidential campaign trail, Harris now claims that she does not want to ban fracking and no longer wants a single-payer health care system.

During her recent CNN interview with Dana Bash, Harris claimed she did not flip-flop on issues because she has the same values.

“Generally speaking, how should voters look at some of the changes that you’ve made that you explained some of here in your policy? Is it because you have more experience now and you’ve learned more about the information? Is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary, and should they feel comfortable that what you’re saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?” CNN’s Dana Bash asked. “I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is that my values have not changed,” Harris began.

Perhaps, Americans should look to London instead of Russia and Iran to see who is really interfering with the American 2024 presidential campaign and keep in mind, that it may just be the Labour Party and EU Socialists.

There was zero strategy in the Labour Party, 34% of the vote, win.
A country disillusioned with the mass immigration from the Tory party wanted to punish them for their failure. Labour won by default, not merit. They have nothing to offer but more taxes and more immigration and will drag the UK back into the EU given a chance.
Now we have a communist loving left wing in power, like the USA.
