Is the letter that Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD) sent to former President Donald Trump and J.D. Vance Wednesday another a formidable red flag for future drama in case the Trump-Vance ticket wins in November?

The word on the street in the nation’s capital is to watch what Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD) does because it is expected that if the Trump-Vance ticket wins, the ‘powers that be’ may try to mess with the January 6 certification process in Congress.

Raskin is the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee. He also served on the January 6 Select Committee.

Raskin's distain for Trump, along with that of former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), is well known.

Raskin reminded Trump and Vance that they have failed to enter into key agreements with the Biden administration.

The congressman has suggested that by neglecting to enter the agreements they could be endangering a peaceful transition of power by "breaking the precedent set by every other presidential candidate since 2010.”

"Your actions depart from well-established norms of the federal government and demonstrate a spectacular disregard for the successful continuation of the essential institutions of American democratic government," Raskin noted.

The Maryland democrat further suggested that Trump and Vance may be trying to flout fundraising reporting requirements and rules designed to prevent “conflicts of interest” in the future.

Both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris were supposed to enter into memorandums of understanding (MOU), or agreements, with the General Services Administration by September 1 and MOUs with the White House by October 1 as part of the transition process.

While Harris’ campaign has entered into the agreements in September, the Trump campaign has not yet.

A GSA spokesperson has confirmed the agency is "actively working with the Trump transition team to complete" a separate agreement.

The GSA agreement provides campaigns with access to office space and equipment, information technology and staff assistance from the federal government.

These agreements give "direct access to the people, resources and information — including national security information — needed to keep our country safe," Raskin added.

There are “significant potential vulnerabilities” that come with the transfer of power between administrations, including that if the new president and administration aren’t ready to govern on day one, U.S. adversaries could take advantage of the situation,” Raskin added.

Candidates who accept these government's "services and facilities" are also required to disclose privately raised transition funds, which are limited to $5,000 per person.

"It appears your decision may be at least partially driven by your intent to circumvent fundraising rules that put limits on private contributions on the transition effort and require public reporting," Raskin stated in an accusatory tone. "You may also be acting out of a more general aversion to ethics rules designed to prevent conflicts of interest in the incoming administration."

Trump has already announced business woman Linda McMahon, who ran the Small Business Administration during Trump’s presidency, and Howard Lutnick, Chairman and CEO of the financial firm Cantor Fitzgerald, as heading up his transition team.

Raskin strongly urged Trump and Vance to sign these agreements with the administration "expeditiously" and submit an ethics plan.

These agreements give "direct access to the people, resources and information — including national security information — needed to keep our country safe," Raskin added.

WE DO NOT WANT THIS SO CALLED INFORMATION.
They will most likely LIE about everything in order to undermine the new administration.

DJT is doing the right thing.

I pray he does not cave and sign on to these agreements and allow these demons to infiltrate his administration.
