As journalists, CDM is taking the lead on the much-needed conversation about censorship and suppression of information that leads to societal ills that harm every citizen. 

"The dark side of Covid-19 is the emergence of government leaders and state agency actors chipping away at citizens' rights.  The upside of COVID-19 is how transparent  and arrogant these leaders revealed themselves. The only way to respond is for those of us who believe in the freedom of the press and freedom of speech to ignite a conversation exposing all of the insidious ways in which these state actors are censoring and suppressing the much needed discourse that sustains a democracy.
