    The House on Thursday passed a stopgap measure to avoid a federal government shutdown.

    Members passed the measure on a bipartisan vote about an hour after the Senate passed the measure.

    The people of Georgia told the GOP on January 5th that blackmailing them for votes would no longer work. We can see why it doesn't really matter any more who people vote for in many areas of the country: because the GOP is literally voting for socialist policies drawn up by Bernie Sanders and others right before our eyes.
