In many ways, America has been like the protective, older brother to Israel, coming to her defense when needed, sharing advice, loyalties and crucial information, so it comes as no surprise that the two countries would often work together in collaborative efforts towards the good of both their interests.

However, over the past five years or so, Israel, as many other nations in the world, has had a front row seat in watching the erosion of so much good will and camaraderie they once enjoyed as progressives have taken front and center in American politics, loudly vocalizing their disdain of our country, while repeating unsubstantiated and fallacious claims of policies which were never fact-checked nor cared to be since that may have interfered with the advancement of their vicious lies.

But on that basis alone, Israel should have looked upon many of America’s recent actions with a bit of hesitation and suspicion, knowing how the political backdrop is changing at lightning speed even as they make every effort to cooperate with the demise of their own good reputation and standing throughout the world.  America has become an embarrassment as it has allowed ignorant, low-information, agenda driven individuals to determine the direction course it will take and plunge it into ruin with no thought of the great history it is shredding.

Thus, when America decided to outsource its health issues to the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) Israel should have immediately smelled something very rotten.

On May 22, 2022, the World Health Organization voted on being given emergency powers over any country they choose, initiated by the Biden Administration (israel365news.com, Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, May 18, 2022) The article goes on to say that the decision was very much kept under wraps for obvious reasons. Berkowitz writes that Israel fell into lockstep, backing the measure with the exception of one lone political voice, Moshe Feiglin, leader of the Zehut Party.

Feiglin is quoted as saying, “There won’t be any debate or decision process.  What has been discussed and said already is only the tip of the iceberg.  The actual division will be far more extreme in removing the rights of the individuals.  This decision has nothing to do with world health, and if you read the resolution itself, it is clear that it deals exclusively with the transfer of power.  It sidesteps entirely any democratic process.  Among other things, the organization will get the right to manage and control the movement of people, imprison them and restrict them in any way they choose, to demand that they undergo such and other treatments.”

Of course, what would we expect from an organization whose leader praised the Chinese for being so “transparent” in their dealings with Covid.  This is the very same leader, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus who began his political career by supporting the global terrorist group, TPLF which joined forces with the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front.  He later entered the Ethiopian health ministry, working his way up the ladder, becoming the country’s health minister in 2005.   During that time, he already used his power to commit human rights abuses by refusing emergency healthcare to the Amhara ethnic group all due to their support of the opposition party.

Yes, that’s exactly what’s lacking in the world – a health czar who doles out treatment solely to those who support his politics!

So really, other than appointing the corrupt dictator Robert Mugabe, former Zimbabwean president as goodwill ambassador, covering up cholera outbreaks in Ethiopia while he managed the health system and helping to create a “highly repressive surveillance state, obtaining much of its surveillance technology from Chinese state suppliers which allows it to monitor and punish dissidents,” (Theglobeandmail, Geoffrey York, 4/24/20) the other long stream of scandals and obvious conflicts of interest, which are easy enough to find on the Internet, should certainly not necessarily disqualify him from taking over the reins of the free world’s health decisions, right?

Australia is also poised to join this group of nations whose trust in the W.H.O. can only be explained by either a huge loss of memory, an unbeknownst quid pro quo arrangement or a new virus which depletes individuals of all sound judgment, wisdom and common sense, leaving them with boundless, terminal stupidity.  Call me a skeptic, but my money is on the unbeknownst quid pro quo arrangement!

As an immigrant of nearly 30 years, to Israel, the one thing which always impressed me about our country was what a family we were – to the point where we are called Kol Beit Israel – The Whole House of Israel, very much representing that “we’re in it together” type of mentality. So, is someone really selling us out or has a stupid contagion infected our political leaders?

Either way, if Feiglin is right in his assessment, and given all we’ve seen over the past two and half years, who would doubt that he isn’t, why should we place our freedoms in the hands of Tedros, the puppet in the hands of the great puppet master, China?  Does anyone think it will end well – or to coin one of the progressives’ favorite words – equitably?  Has contributing to our own demise suddenly become fashionable?  I wish I had an answer to all of these very perplexing questions which defy logic, but, sadly, I don’t.

We can only surmise that this is headed towards world dominance, population obedience and lockstep behavior designed to control and rule over us.  For those who try to resist, punishment will be meted out harshly and with all due dispatch lest anyone think that resistance can put an end to all this craziness!

Our country, just as every other, has a host of problems, but most of us believed that even despite our own issues, there is a component or morality, decency and ethics which comes from the basis of our faith in adhering to the Ten Commandments.  However, it’s feeling more and more as if  an 11^th has been added which reads, “Thou Shalt Allow Corrupt Players to Rule Over You, Because That Always Worked Out Well.”

As of this writing, it’s not clear if this is a done deal, but if it happens, Israel must immediately extricate itself from this gigantic error of judgment which will lead us right back into the wilderness of bondage, which already took 40 years to escape.  In this case, however, it may very well prove to be a fatal blunder from which we may never recover – short of divine intervention, and it looks as if we could use some of that right about now!
