Police Unions Funded Man Now Putting Them On Trump-Supporter Blacklist Targeted For Revenge

Police departments and unions across the country bought into Michael Simon's Elucd software, making millions for the start-up headed by the former 2008 Obama campaign staffer.

Now those police departments are being put on a blacklist for revenge by Simon if a Biden presidency is consummated.

In the response below to a tweet by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Simon agreed Trump-supporters should be targeted for retribution.

The Trump Accountability Project was started because we believe restoring democratic norms are vital to protecting America's future. A critical part of making sure the nation never finds itself in this position again is to make sure those members of the Trump administration responsible for loosening the guardrails of our democracy are not rewarded with book deals, TV contracts, or six-figure salaries in the private sector based on that experience, reads the project website.

The problem for Simon is the people who funded his startup - Elucd, will likely be on this blacklist, slated for harm under a Biden administration.

Elucd's website describes the product this way -- Elucd’s underlying technology was developed by co-founder Michael Simon during then Senator Obama’s 2008 campaign, to help the senator hear from all four corners of the US. Elucd officially launched in 2016 leveraging this technology to help Police Departments understand how different populations feel about them; and the local community's level of trust in police.

Elucd has contracts with the NYPD, LAPD, and many other police departments across the nation. Simon has made $2.9M on the NYPD project alone.

The New York Police Benevolent Association endorsed Trump in 2020. Early funding for the software tool came from the NY Police Foundation who's membership might be upset the foundation funded a tool they may end up listed upon.

The LAPD was also an early funder of Elucd. The National Fraternal Order of Police also endorsed Trump in 2020. Will they end up on the blacklist as well?

In a twist of irony, it seems Mr. Simon also did political 'consulting' work in Ukraine. That is an area we know a little bit about. More on that later.
