Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, said Monday that China has made a "fundamental decision that the status quo was no longer acceptable and that Beijing was determined to pursue reunification on a much faster timeline." He went on to say, "There has been a change in the approach from Beijing toward Taiwan in recent years," Blinken continued. Blinken's warning, given during an event at Stanford University, comes after Chinese Dictator, Xi Jinping, reiterated his intent to take Taiwan by force if necessary.
In an almost two-hour-long speech Sunday given as part of the Communist party congress that occurs twice a decade, Xi Jinping stated that the "wheels of history are rolling on towards China's reunification [with Taiwan]." While Xi Jinping went on to note that reunifying with Taiwan in a peaceful manner was ideal, Xi did comment that China did, "reserve the option of taking all measures necessary."
On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Wang Wenbin, told reporters, "Resolving the Taiwan question is a matter for the Chinese, a matter that must be resolved by the Chinese," he said in response to Blinken's remarks. Wang continued, "We are ready to create vast space for peaceful reunification, but we will leave no room for separatist activities in any form."
It is unclear why Blinken issued his warning regarding China as he gave no details or indications as to when Xi Jinping might move to seize Taiwan.

The sooner China annexes Taiwan, the better. Taiwan was the Ukraine of East Asia. China has probably already taken over the underground and undersea bases and destroyed the genetics laboratories. Taiwan's government, however, are New World Order puppets---they have to go.
