The popular outerwear clothing manufacturer Carhartt has been added to the 'control' side of the CDMedia 'Freedom or Control' List.
A conservative backlash erupted against the retailer after the CEO said the firm's vaccine mandate would stay in place after the Supreme Court banned the Biden* administration's vaccine mandate for companies employing more than 100 people.
The issue bubbled up so much among employees at Carhartt, the Michigan-based workwear and other clothing company, that CEO Mark Valade emailed workers a day after the Supreme Court ruling to provide some clarity: Vaccination remained mandatory, wrote The Washington Post.
“We put workplace safety at the very top of our priority list and the Supreme Court’s recent ruling doesn’t impact that core value,” Valade wrote Friday, according to a copy of the email published to social media. “We, and the medical community, continue to believe vaccines are necessary to ensure a safe working environment for every associate and even perhaps their households.”
Valade, who noted how the private company was not changing the mandatory vaccination policy that would result in termination for employees who don’t comply, added: “An unvaccinated workforce is both a people and business risk that our company is unwilling to take.”

There ya go! He said it. "And perhaps their households", implying they will make your family be vaccinated in order for you to work there.
Thank you for keeping me informed. I do buy Carhartt and will stop.
Used to really like Carhartt and was thinking of using them for employees if I'm able to get my business up and running. Guess I will have to find a different manufacturer. Shame on you Carhartt.
This Outfit would find itself right at home by moving to China. It's a wonder they did not already do that, years ago, with the attitude this company has.
The latest word, from an embalmer is, of his last 35 (dead) customers, 20 to 24 of them have worm-like growths in the veins and arteries, plugging up the system so badly the embalm fluid can't run. He refers to them as 'worms' when they're a white-ish fibrous growth, seemingly from the 'vaccines' and Carhartt wants to force its employees into taking the jab. They run high risk of forfeiting their lives for that company.
Yes, I will no longer buy Carhartt.
