British Prime Minister Theresa May began to receive tepid support for her Brexit deal from pro-Brexit MPs who consider her plan to leave the EU a weak effort which will keep Britain under the thumb of Brussels. However, they see the alternative as unacceptable as 'Remainer' members of parliament are plotting to keep the United Kingdom in the European Union if May's deal doesn't pass.

Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, who would be likely to run to succeed May, gave ITV News his price for backing the deal. “What I want to hear is, if this Withdrawal Agreement is to make any sense at all, then there’s got to be a massive change in the U.K.’s negotiating approach,” he said. That sounded like a call for a new leader. Meanwhile Jacob Rees-Mogg, another leading Brexit-backer, said he was ready to support the deal, reported Bloomberg.

May has completely lost the support of parliament with the legislature having pulled control of the Brexit process from her yesterday; leftist politicians like Jeremy Corbin want Britain to stay in the bloc.

Meanwhile the EU leadership keeps incessantly plotting and scheming to undermine the will of the British people. Elitist EU politician Donald Tusk had revolting comments for the British leadership today on the floor of the EU parliament.

“Before the European Council I said we should be open to a long extension if the UK wants to rethink its Brexit strategy, which would of course mean the UK’s participation in the European Parliament elections,” he told MEPs in an address in Strasbourg on Wednesday, reported The Independent..

“Then there were voices saying that this would be harmful or inconvenient to some of you: let me be clear, such thinking is unacceptable.

“You cannot betray the six million people who signed a petition to revoke Article 50, the one million people who marched for a people’s vote, or the increasing majority of people who want to remain in the European Union. They may feel that they are not sufficiently represented by the UK parliament but they must feel that they are represented by you in this chamber because they are Europeans.”
