Markets have moved higher on expectation the deal will close.
The breakthrough is reported to be the GOP agreeing to stricter oversight of the proposed $500B business recovery fund; it is doubtful McConnell and The White House will agree to the laundry list of socialist proposals included in the House version of the bill released yesterday.
Economic data released today is completely irrelevant due to the coming impact of the coronavirus slowdown.
