Today President Donald J. Trump told reporters the he has been taking hydroxychloroquine for weeks as a preventative medication to ward off the Chinavirus (COVID-19). The President cited advice from his White House doctors and the experience of many front line healthcare workers as justification for using the drug. This admission shocked the Fake News media who depend on advertising from Big Pharma to pay the salaries of their talking heads and producers.

This announcement came on the same day that shares of preclinical company Moderna soared 25% It was one of the first companies to announce plans to develop a vaccine and its mRNA candidate announced positive clinical findings on human testing subjects. The trial is being conducted with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the company has received at least $483 million in federal funding for its vaccine candidate this year. The stock market was up over 900 points on positive news about treatments for Chinavirus and the continued opening of the US economy.

The NIH and CDC have consistently downplayed the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in treating Chinavirus. The NIH has even gone to the extreme lengths of funding misleading studies of the drug which are published in established medical journals to discourage COVID-19 patients from using it. These large institutional healthcare agencies, hospitals and medical publications are all focused on selling new very expensive drugs and vaccines to solve the Chinavirus threat, but “old”, inexpensive generic drugs like hydroxychloroquine just got the Presidential seal of approval.
