    CDM ON-SITE BREAKING: Government Helicopter Hovers Over Aid Site In Burnsville, NC Causes Damage To Aid Delivery, Then Leaves

    CORRECTION: There is reporting this helicopter was marked from the CT National Guard.

    CDM is on-site in Western NC and has reporters in multiple locations feeding us information.

    Burnsville is one of the worst hit areas in North Carolina, and has been closed by FEMA to most traffic.

    Yesterday, reports emerged of an unmarked government helicopter hovering over the civilian aid center in Burnsville, harming the civilian effort to deliver supplies.

    There are accusations this group would not allow their operation to be commandeered by FEMA, hence the behavior of the helicopter crew. We cannot confirm these accusations.
