• Democrats Prepare For Weekend Impeachment Defeat

With witnesses blocked, the impeachment could be over as soon as tomorrow.

The Democratic House Managers who are presenting their impeachment case to the Senate have been calling for more witnesses to testify since their opening arguments. In the same breath, they also reassure the chamber that their case against President Trump is "overwhelming". In a particularly heated exchanged yesterday between material witness Adam Schiff and Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow:

They were hoping to get new testimony from former White House National Security Advisor and notorious warmongerer John Bolton who had a draft copy of his book conveniently "leaked" by the New York Times.

While a motion calling for the new witness could be granted with a simple majority vote, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said the chances are "unlikely", so the prospect of a 2/3rds vote to remove the president is far less probable.

The Democrats led by Rep. Adam Schiff rushed their impeachment inquiry through the House hoping the momentum would pressure at least a few GOP Senators to vote in favor of removing the President. Unfortunately for Schiff & Co., the Republicans are as united in the Senate as they were in the House, where impeachment was voted along strict party lines, making it the most partisan impeachment in history.

You will be hard pressed to find a single political analyst that will argue that there is still a chance the duly elected president will be removed from office. And you'll have a harder time finding a single American that isn't bored with this impeachment sham. In fact, Trump's approval rating continues to increase despite the impeachment trial.

RealClearPolitics, which tracks multiple polling agencies to compile an intensive national average approval rating, shows that Trump is doing better in the polls now than at any other point in the last 2 years.

As Spectator puts it, "This is only the third time in history a president has been impeached and the first time that absolutely no one cares."

Republican senators are strategizing how to get rid of their unwanted House guests as quickly as possible, and as Politico is reporting, they'll succeed, probably by the weekend.

And they play on killing the impeachment painfully.

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY) told The Sara Carter Show  “Over the course of the day tomorrow [Friday] or maybe Saturday, we hopefully will see an acquittal of the president. I don’t want to see a dismissal. I don’t want to see a motion to just end the trial."

The Muller Report exonerated President Trump, and now the final Senate trial vote will acquit him. The result? Schiff crying in his basement bunker before moving on to whatever Democrats concoct next.
