Indictments flowing from the investigation into the Spygate scandal involving former President, Barack Obama are said to be coming out this week according to John Solomon, an investigative reporter and editor and chief of his new media outlet, "Just the News".

On an episode of Lou Dobbs Tonight, Solomon stated these charges could be announced this week following the release of key materials on April 16 by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"There's not going to be a lot, don't expect 10 or 12 indictments, but there could be a handful of indictments and much more information," Solomon said.

The key materials released on April 16 include declassified interviews between President Trump's former foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos and undercover FBI agents, copies of the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrant and three renewals used to spy on Trump's former foreign policy advisor Carter Page and much more.

The three categories of material released include:

    1. Declassified DOJ materials related to the Crossfire Hurricane operation.
    2. Timeline of correspondence sent or received by Chairman Graham and Committee activity regarding the FISA abuse investigation.
    3. Corrective actions taken by DOJ and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court as a result of the FISA abuse investigation.

Solomon explains the many mistakes made by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that have been identified in the now unclassified documents released on the 16th.

"The level of information that the FBI had that raised red flags -they should have never, not even for a moment entertained Christopher Steele as a human source, as a confidential informant is now overwhelming, overwhelming evidence," Solomon said.

On May 13 of 2019 Attorney General William P. Barr tapped John H. Durham, the U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut to lead the investigation into the origins of the special counsel’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
