• CCP Supports Investigation Into COVID Outbreak...Because It Will Done By WHO!

Imagine if you saw the following headlines in mainstream media:

    • "Investigation of Jeffrey Epstein Death To Be Performed By Clinton Foundation"
    • "CIA To Probe Alleged Comey Perjury"
    • "Ilhan Omar To Face Tribunal Headed By Keith Ellison"

None of them would be as ridiculous as the Chinese Communist Party being judged for their role in the outbreak of COVID-19 by the World Health Organization. It's funny for a moment, until the reality set in. Xi Jinping and Tedros Ghebreyesus are making these claims with straight faces.

"The work should be based on science and professionalism, led by the WHO and conducted in an objective and impartial manner," Xi added. "We must strengthen global governance in public health."

    --Xi Jinping

"Oh, Br'er Fox, please don't throw me in that briar patch!"

Others are not amused. President Trump said plainly and flatly about the WHO, "They are a puppet of China...the World Health Organization was against it, they were against me doing [the ban on travel from China]. I'm not happy with the World Health Organization."

Trump pointed out one blatant conflict of interest: China funds the WHO. But he didn't mention that while "agreeing" to be investigated, the CCP simultaneously pledged $2 billion to the WHO. It's the equivalent of an accused criminal writing a check to his judge prior to a case.

HHS Secretary Alex Azar weighed in as well, noting the failure of the WHO in the early stages of the outbreak.

U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar II said Monday that the U.S. "supports an independent review of every aspect of WHO's response to the pandemic."

"We must be frank about one of the primary reasons this outbreak spun out of control: there was a failure by this organization to obtain the information that the world needed, and that failure cost many lives," he added.

Perhaps not shockingly, mainstream media outlets are reporting this news with out a trace of outrage, or even recognition of the cynical, ridiculous premise that underlies the investigation. Adding insult to injury, Xi added that any overview could only begin after the virus has been contained.

That should create an ample timeline to work out a pro-China narrative.

Further complicating the matter, Trump has agreed to restore some funding to the WHO after suspending contributions two weeks ago. After the US has completed its own investigation into the WHO response to the virus, it will match what China contributes. Apparently Trump still wants a seat at the table, but won't pay more for it than China does.

As Fox News reported on Saturday:

"That is why I've decided the United States will continue to partner and work with the WHO ..." it adds. "China owes a massive debt to the entire world, and it can start with paying its fair share to the WHO."

It's a neat Trump trick: same access, lower cost.

As CDMedia has already noted, one potentially complicating factor is that Dr. Fauci's NIAID funded the coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology which almost certainly led to the outbreak. The NIAID is part of the federal government.

One element of a WHO-led investigation that will presumably never see the light of day: was it accidental or intentional release? Answering that question risks implicating the dirty circle of coronafriends, the WHO, CCP, Bill Gates, and Fauci's NIAID.

[…] the interim, a new arrangement was floated, whereby the US would match China’s funding of the WHO, retaining a seat at the table for a reduced cost. Now, that plan is scuttled, and the […]
