While President Trump has been quick to criticize Fox News recent coverage of him, many conservatives have started to turn away from their former favorite network. And these recents events are what led to outrage that Outnumbered host Harris Faulkner cut off former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich when he tried to bring up George Soros.
Gingrich brought up George Soros in his connection to funding progressive activist, and the alleged reports that this funding has helped these activists engage in riots and violence across America. Gingrich said, "Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros's money. And they're a major cause of the violence we're seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street.”
The former speaker was immediately cut off by co-host Melissia Francis, who said, “I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this.”
Faulkner tried to let Gingrich continue, saying, “I was going to say you get the last word, Speaker.”
Gingrich then continued, “He paid for it. I mean, why can’t we discuss the fact that millions of dollars…”
But then, another co-host interrupted Gingrich again. Marie Harf said, “No, he didn’t. I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.”
Gingrich then tried to reply, “Ok. So it’s verboten.”
But before Gingrich could continue his point, Faulkner took control and said, “Ok, we’re going to move on.”
This exchange was quickly picked up by conservatives, as they accused Fox News of deliberately shutting down Gingrich for pointing out the link between Soros and BLM. The backlash was so swift, that Faulkner had to respond the next day on her show, promising viewers that Fox News does not “censor” their guests. Faulkner said that the moment was “ not smooth,” and acknowledged the disrespect given to one of Fox News’ most popular guests. She said, “Out guest, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who is believed and needed to be allowed to speak with the openness and respect that his show is all about, was interrupted.”
Conservatives have wondered about the direction Fox News is headed since Roger Ailes stepped down as Chairman, and moments like this reignite their theory that Fox News may be moving down a different political line.

When you interrupt your guest, not once, but twice for the sole purpose to undermine what they are saying, you should be fired immediately. That was not only unprofessional as a journalist, but clearly biased in you reasoning. I'm not a fan of the former Speaker of the House, but he was completely correct that these DAs are sponsored by Soros or a Soros NGO.

That's not a response. It's just saying that they disrespected Gingrich, which many people witnessed live.
The real question is, "Why did they cut him off?" Well, we all know the answer to that, but it's creepy when the Fox News host is scared to speak to it.
Soros is definitely involved in so many things going wrong with this country. There's a reason that his organizations have been banned in many countries. Because they know he's working to destabilize things. Kind of like BLM... Go figure...
