    The House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Wednesday signed subpoenas expanding their investigation into the first family’s business dealings and family’s intertwined finances.

    So far, the committee has issued President Joe Biden's brother, James Biden, Hunter Biden, the president’s son, and their family business associate Rob Walker.

    Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has publicly stated that the committee will be interviewing the president eventually. He said the president will be the last the committee interviews.

    "We're still a long way from talking to Joe Biden, but we're, we're ready to talk to the family members now," Comer said.

    Congressman Comer also said his committee plans to hold any party in contempt of Congress if they ignore a subpoena.

    House Republicans officially launched their impeachment inquiry into President Biden in September over allegations that he oversaw a foreign influence peddling scheme, deceived 2020 election voters and covered up his son’s crimes.

     "We’ve also identified nine members of the Biden family who have participated in or benefited from these business schemes,” said Comer in September. "What were the Bidens selling to make all this money?"

    Comer is also planning to interview several Biden family members in the future.

    • Melissa Cohen, Hunter Biden's current wife;
    • Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden's ex-girlfriend and his brother's widow;
    • Elizabeth Secundy, Hallie's sister;
    • Sara Biden, James Biden's wife;
    • Tony Bobulinski, Hunter and James Biden associate.

    The committee has requested that James Biden appear on December 6 and Hunter Biden appear on December 13.

    The House Oversight Committee investigators have traced about $24 million so far from foreign parties to the Biden family and Biden family associates’ bank accounts.

    The congressional investigators have discovered 20 shell companies so far related to the Biden family. Many of these accounts were created when Joe Biden was vice president.

    The money trails to the bank accounts are traced to operations in Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Ukraine, and China.
