If You Think Biden Can Beat Trump, One Democratic Presidential Candidate Thinks Voters Are Delusional

If you are supporting Biden thinking he can beat Donald Trump in 2024, the latest democratic presidential candidate to join the ranks with eyes set on the White House thinks voters are “delusional.”

Democratic Congressman Dean Phillips of Minnesota announced his candidacy on October 26.

He posted a tweet Saturday claiming that voters thinking President Joe Biden could defeat former President Donald Trump were “delusional.”

Phillips cited Biden’s dropping poll numbers by sharing a report by Politico in a post on X Saturday morning. Trump led Biden in polls by NBC News, Quinnipiac, Fox News and Morning Consult.

“As a member of House Democratic Leadership, I supported and promoted the Biden agenda,” Phillips tweeted. “I campaigned for him, voted for him, and respect him. But how can anyone read this and conclude he’s positioned to defeat Donald Trump?”

“It’s delusional,” Phillips concluded.
