Democratic donors, Hollywood celebrities, a Biden Covid Task Force doctor, more democratic congressional members and now democratic senators, and even those who attended a Clooney fundraiser in Los Angeles three weeks are finally admitting the Joe Biden the world witnessed during the June 27 CNN presidential debate was the same guy who attended Clooney’s Los Angeles fundraiser before the debate.
The insult to the rest of world is that we have been dealing with reality calling out Joe's decline before this train wreck was so obvious during the debate.
Earlier this week Mika Brzezinski challenged Dr. Zeke Emanuel, who served on Biden’s Covid-19 Task Force, because the doctor believes that Biden’s health decline has significantly diminished. Could it be that Mika is standing up for Joe Biden because her brother, Mark, was appointed U.S. Ambassador to Poland by Joe Biden in 2021.
George Clooney took the "stay in - drop out" conversation to a new level admitting Joe-Debater was the same man as Joe-Fundraising Benefactor three weeks ago before the debate. The actor wrote an op-ed in the New York Times Wednesday. Clooney “loves Joe Biden,” but now he wants him to “drop out” of the race.
For anyone to believe that Clooney did not speak with someone in the Obama camp, namely his buddy, Barack Obama, before he submitted this op-ed to the New York Times, would seem a solid bet.
Clooney's admission did not sit well with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy who took to X blasting Clooney and all the democrats.
“So what, George? If he didn’t do the debate … and wasn’t a vegetable, you were just gonna keep your mouth shut?” Portnoy asked in his 3:15 minute video.
“And by the way, if you just found out Biden was a vegetable three weeks ago, where have you been for two years? Everyone knows he’s a fking vegetable” he blasted.
“The guy can’t get on and off a stage without getting lost. He talks about dead people like he had lunch with them yesterday. He can’t fking ride his bike without falling down. He can’t get up and down fking Air Force One without taking a tumble. No shit he’s a vegetable. He’s been a vegetable for two fking years. Democrats don’t fking care.”
Portnoy then went on to allege that the only reason Biden did the debate was “because the Democrats want to show the world that they had no choice but to fking whack him."
“...let’s just have Trump run versus a head of lettuce,” Portnoy joked. “Honestly. The votes will probably be the same, because people who voted for Biden, or are voting — they hate Trump. It’s not a pro-vegetable vote. It’s we hate Trump and won’t vote for Trump, so we’re voting for a head of lettuce.”
“Spare me the op-ed,” Portnoy asserted. “You fking Democrats have known for two years this guy is a vegetable and you keep propping up the vegetable and putting the head of lettuce in our face … so stop crying.”
“What you wanted to do was pick who would run. You didn’t want a free fking election of other candidates. So you had Biden go win it, and now the Democratic Party is trying to say, ‘who comes next,’ it’s a game,” Portnoy ranted. “They knew he was a head of lettuce. Everybody with a brain knew that.”
Jon Favreau, “Pod Save America” host on Wednesday also admitted that everyone at Clooney’s fundraiser noticed Joe Biden’s decline.
“Clooney was right. Every person I talked to at the fundraiser thought the same thing, except those working with the Bidens,” Favreau stated on Inside Politics on CNN.
Donors have been reeling since the debate because the Biden Campaign Co-Chair David Katzenberg has been raising money for Biden and telling donors that Biden was sharp. The debate proved Katzenberg dead wrong.
The significant barometers though are the state polls in battleground states and in states that were not considered battleground states before Biden’s disastrous debate performance.
Clearly, there is realistic panic that may not be recoverable for the democrats as Democratic President Joe Biden’s brand is burning and the fallout may be a brush fire down ticket.
The odds may be growing for the president to step aside although he has stated he will not as more rumors are growing of a disaster in battleground state polls and beyond. Even internal Biden-Harris campaign memos are raising alarms.
The president appears to be even losing ground in New York State, which has not voted for a republican since the 1984 election when one of their own democratic vice-presidential candidate Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro was on the Mondale ticket.
Ronald Reagan won New York with nearly 54% of the popular vote over Walter Mondale with nearly 46%, a victory margin of nearly 8%.
Former President Donald Trump has been cutting into Biden’s lead to just 8 points across New York. Trump has a single-digit lead in every battleground state – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, according to RealClearPolitics.com recent poll average published today.
“We’re still acting like this is a one-party state, which for pretty much 20, 25 years it has been. I truly believe we’re a battleground state now,” Democratic Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine told Politico.
The Cook Political Report has now moved Arizona, Nevada and Georgia from "toss-up" to "leaning Republican” and shifted Minnesota and New Hampshire from "likely Democrat" to "lean Democrat."
Furthermore, the down-ballot fears are real.
New York Democratic Congressman Pat Ryan became the eighth House Democrat to ask Biden to step aside on Wednesday.
“I’d be doing a grave disservice if I said he was the best candidate to serve this fall," Ryan told the New York Times. "For the good of our country, for my two young kids, I’m asking Joe Biden to step aside in the upcoming election and deliver on the promise to be a bridge to a new generation of leaders.”
On the campaign trail at recent rallies in New Jersey and New York, former President Trump has said that he believes those two states are in play noting the migrants on the streets of New York City
Trump is even targeting Minnesota and Virginia. His campaign is opening up 11 campaign offices in Virginia and eight in Minnesota.
Trump held a rally in Chesapeake, Virginia with Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin one day after his debate with President Biden.
