After nearly four tumultuous weeks of America drama that has snapped a reality cloud over the country, President Joe Biden made the inevitable decision that many believe would eventually happen - he and his family have decided to end his 2024 presidential run with the push and pull of the democratic leadership, announced Mark Halperin on Newsmax.
Even though Joe Biden was diagnosed with dementia in 2019 before he announced his candidacy for the 2020 presidential campaign, his wife, Jill, supported his bid then as did his family, but not everyone.
Valerie Biden Owens, Joe Biden’s sister, had always served as his campaign manager since the first days he got into politics first running for the County Council race and then after when Joe Biden ran for U.S. Senate in 1972 and the decades thereafter.
After his dementia diagnosis in 2019, Owens was hesitant for Joe Biden to run in 2020 because she felt that her older brother was too “impaired” at that point, as stated and tweeted by Tucker Carlson on July 1 shortly after Joe Biden’s dismal performance during the June 27 CNN presidential debate.
America has known that Joe Biden was unfit for years, but covered up for him and his administration. Tucker stated it very clearly. What has not been admitted is that the Legacy media has known about this for years.
Tucker and those of us in the media who know politics and Washington, DC predicted Biden would be forced out no matter how vigorously the current president fought the inevitable. Tucker predicted that Biden would resign and that Harris would serve as president. That is not going to happen.
The democratic progressive agenda and policies are not going to change. The race is not about Trump versus Biden anymore.
It is about Trump’s policies versus the same democratic progressive policies even without Joe Biden at the top of the ticket.
According to Halperin, the devil is in the details being worked out for this passing of the mantle undoubtedly with Obama and Biden’s old friend Ted Kaufman, who served as Biden’s Chief of Staff for decades before resigning. Kaufman returned to public service and served out Joe Biden’s Senate tenure when he was elected vice-president.
Historian Jon Meacham was on the phone with President Biden after the June 27 CNN Debate. Meacham endorsed Biden in 2020 and spoke by tape on the final night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

But, according to the decision today, Biden will not be saving the country nor will be passing the torch directly to Kamala Harris. Joe Biden is not expected to endorse Kamala Harris. The deal in motion is to have an open convention.
No one should worry about rules and how to pass the collected money to any campaign. If nothing America has learned over the last four years. The Biden regime - the progressive regime - has not played by any rules for any policy on the federal level for domestic or foreign policy from Ukraine to NATO to US southern borders or LGBTIQ+ policies. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' legacies will be forever entrenched in the weaponization of government the likes of which America has never seen.
Behind the scenes, Harris is looking at running mates from Governors of Kentucky, Pennsylvania, California and Michigan. The official announcement is expected sometime this weekend.
