• COVIDictators Beware: The American Rebel Spirit Is Still Alive

In the current environment of uncertainty and government overreach into all of our lives, there seems to be some light at the end of the government built tunnel. This is not because we have actually reached the end, but because as with most things built by the government, it's crumbling.

In the past few months, dollar store dictators from across the nation have been implementing strict draconian regulations, in what appears to almost be an attempt to break the back of the largest economy to have existed on this planet. Those who have tried to fight back have been punished like Shelley Luther, a salon owner in Dallas, Texas who saw the inside of a jail cell for daring to put food on her own table.

Even more recently, Governor Whitmer of Michigan decided due process was not to be afforded to a 77-year-old barber who had his state licenses stripped  after ignoring local health officials orders to close his shop. Despite attacks against his personal livelihood, Karl Manke has pledged to keep his shop open “until Jesus comes” and adding that “The government is not my mother, never has been. I've been in business longer than they’ve been alive.”

As of publishing, the county of Shiawassee where Manke operates his small business, has seen a total of 19 deaths over the last three months from the Chinese coronavirus.

Thirty-six million workers on unemployment plus an encroachment on individual and business freedoms has roused the rebel spirit within Americans of all creeds and especially those heavily invested in the economy: our entrepreneurs.

In defiance of his highness, Lord Newsom I of California, entrepreneurs like Elon Musk have also stood defiantly to protect their rights, investments and the livelihood of thousands of workers who are struggling to provide for their families. In true American fashion, the foreign-born businessman, who came to this country to take advantage of the opportunities only offered in the land of the free, started businesses that rival the old-established automakers and even NASA.

But in the way of human ingenuity stands a formidable opponent, our elected officials. Those officials who seem to have forgotten their oaths of office.

Where else would this battle between our government and our freedoms happen other than Twitter?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on the social media platform on Friday that his company will be opening this week in spite of Alameda County shutdown orders. And over the weekend, Musk announced that his company has filed suit against Alameda County asking the judge to invalidate the orders given to him by unelected public health officials that have forced his production to be halted on March 23rd. He also announced via Twitter that he will be looking to relocate his business outside of California to prevent future government overreach.

Defiance to the powers that would seek to hold us down has led to the creation of the most successful nation on the earth, one which is still propelled by an unrivaled economic prowess. This rebel spirit seems to be alive in the entrepreneurs of this country, still to this day.

In open opposition, Elon Musk has decided to reopen his plant, a move which will definitely embarrass his Highness Newsom and even bring the wrath of the state and local government down upon other businesses across the state of California merely as vengeance.

Governor Newsom has tried to be as passive as possible regarding Tesla reopening, first saying he was unaware before suggesting that he would be open to talking to Musk and finding a solution that is mutually beneficial. However, this is a path which forks, and neither direction is good for the governor.

The first route would implore the governor to lift the regulations which closed Tesla and many other California businesses in the first place, and although the better option for the public and the economy in which we all depend on, ask yourself when was the last time a member of government has made a decision for the betterment of the general public. Newsom is unlikely to admit defeat and risk confusing the hive-minded ego he shares with party members.

The second option is to upgrade from a wannabe despot to a full-fledged King George III and attack the Californian economy as if it were his enemy. While this may lead to civil unrest, it would be the precedent needed for the other dear governors throughout this nation also finding themselves challenged by unruly subjects. Of course Newson is eyeing this path, evident by another extension of the California lockdown into late July for most of the state. That means residents of The Golden State will be unable to celebrate their freedoms this Fourth of July.

No matter the path that Newsom decides to take, it will crack a polarized nation even more, but the spirit of the true American will not be broken. Since its inception, this nation has attracted pioneers and entrepreneurs from every mark on the globe. This has been the backbone of the most successful experiment to have been implemented upon the world, one which has changed the history of mankind profoundly.

The spirit of America cannot be broken by any government official, especially those who thrive on fear and obedience. Better have tried and failed. Rather, it will overcome any dystopian rules and be a lesson to all Mao worshipers who today enjoy holding high offices and try to control our lives. But they are still learning the most important lesson of all about needing the consent of the governed.

I have worked hard all my life to get where I am, DESPITE the government being the biggest obstacle to do it. I am not standing by while these douche-bag politicians try to ruin it all for me. Remember, these folks are politicians because they aren't qualified for any real job.

Throw them out, or better yet run them out of town on a rail.

This Nation was built by common people going about their business - farm to mine to factory to railway to shipyard - and the WORKING cycle never ends - only Marxist cum Tyranny poppycock interferes with civil and common sense progress !!!

"But in the way of human ingenuity stands a formidable opponent, our elected officials. " I just love that sentence. So true.
