A video over the weekend showed a mob of angry Karens at a Staten Island grocery store surrounding a woman who was not wearing a mask and harassing her until she left.
As they hurled insults at her like “bitch” and "hoe", the Karen company repeatedly broke the six-foot, CDC recommended social distancing etiquette to frighten the female shopper into submission. Shoprite has still not issued a statement regarding the incident.
Personally, my favorite part of the video is when the male in the bandanna (not a mask) in the top left, pulls off his safety face-covering so he, too, can yell at the woman.

Can this mob of groupthink Karens adequately explain why some people may choose not to wear a mask or do they just assume that all people are supposed to align their behavior with others’ feelings?
One day, they’re going to pull this on the wrong person who won’t be as respectful as the woman shopper.
