According to a new report by the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. Energy Department has formally determined that Covid "most likely arose from a laboratory leak."

The report cited a classified intelligence report that was recently sent to the White House and specific members of Congress as its source.

The Energy Department is now in agreement with the FBI that the Covid virus likely spread from an incident at a Chinese lab. According to the Wall Street Journal, "The energy Department's conclusion is the result of new intelligence and is significant because the agency has considerable scientific expertise and oversees a network of U.S. national laboratories, some of which conduct advanced biological research."

Stanford University microbiologist David Relman said in the report, "Kudos to those who are willing to set aside their preconceptions and objectively re-examine what we know and don't know about Covid origins."

While the U.S. government had long avoided the likely possibility that the Covid virus originated from a lab leak, previously dismissing it as a "conspiracy theory," many others did not and were asking the common sense questions that often lead to logical answers.

One such person was Dr. Richard Ebright at Rutgers, who has long suggested that Covid was "more more easily explained" as the result of a laboratory leak.

While the government turned its back on logic and science, scores of Americans were having their voices censored on social media platforms such as Twitter for voicing concerns and allegedly spreading "misinformation."

Where is the apology from the government, now that the Energy Department and FBI have formally concluded that Covid did, in fact, most likely come from a lab leak?
