University of Georgia football great Herschel Walker seems to have announced this morning on Twitter he is running for high office in the Peach State - probably U.S Senator, but to be determined.
Walker won the Heisman Trophy in 1982.
"I'm getting ready...", Walker said on a Tweet this morning.
Finally ,a real Black American Man , who isn't a lawyer or career politician , running for office ... I will vote for him .......
I'm looking forward to his win. He is a really good man.

Herschel will win in the proverbial landslide, unless the demonrats figure a way to cheat him out of victory.
Herschel would be an asset to America if he ran. I think he will and I wish him the best of luck.
This is how Georgia winds up with so many Democrat sympathizers in the Republican party. Politicians of celebrity status with no known record and questionable associations but are virtual shoo ins, transplanted Republicans who were Rinos in their states of origin and party switchers who can no longer get elected as Democrats when their districts changed.
